"Traveled to and from DFW to Lamar, Colorado. We visited the Grand Canyon Of Texas just a few hours south of Lamar, Co. on the return leg of the trip. We arrived about 7 pm, both rooms were ready, clean and well stocked with cups towels and coffee. The rooms were spacious and well lit for work and to read later for pleasure. "I booked on short notice off of the internet. I was surprised, in a good way. I thought it was a cheap hotel and the truth is that it is a value added property. It was Quiet, clean and ground level. The staff was very nice, she told me about everything closing up and Sunday most places are closed in Lamar, Co. "When we got there, we had to call to to get a code in order to get in the building and we’re told to go to room number one and the door was wide open with no key to lock it and we found paper on the floor in the bathroom and no towels after a while we got that resolved and spent the night the sinks took a long time to get hot water, but we managed OK"
