"We were looking for an comfortable overnight stay while we visited Elizabeth City State University. We were conveniently located within 5 minutes from the campus and near eateries and shopping. The check-in was seamless. The room was clean and gave just what we needed for a quick stay. "

"Beds were uncomfortable and on a metal box platform that made a hollow banging noise when moving. One of the reasons for booking this hotel was it had a pool. When we arrived the Pool was green and unusable but it was not noted at time of booking. Not what I expected from a hotel chain."

Poorly designed toilet paper holder was a bit frustrating as the tube kept getting hung up on the two prongs and would cease to turn until being centered again between the two prongs, only to slightly shift again requiring yet another realignment. The two chairs in the room (one a rolling desk chair and the other one a causal chair) were very uncomfortable. The seats in both were very hard and sitting in either one...

"The front desk clerk was nice when checking in . I had to report that the microwave handle was broken already so we wouldn't be charged with it. The only issue I had was there was only one elevator and you had to wait. Oh, and I had to be careful when taking a shower. The tub surface wasn't flat it was kinda curved, assuming it's an older tub."

"I think this is a family run busines, so Iwas happy to stay for that reason vs a big chain ran by a corporation. Check in was easy. Im glad I brought some clorox wipes with me. The door handle and light switches were pretty gross. The sheets were clean and the room seemed like it was recently painted. The floor tiles had some major gaps in them and could have given another once over with a mop. The sink seemed to have some plumbing issues that would have particles of food from and unknown source...

"I booked the house for 2 nights and the morning of my arrival date I received an email the booking had been canceled by the host. Fully refunded but I was in a bind to find another place. I found the same property listed on vrbo as available. It was a higher rate and they preferred longer duration bookings. I went a different direction and booked into a hotel. Higher rate and not as welcoming. With future business projects in the area I will find a different house to meet my needs. Was...
