"Nice clean unique little cabin in a small resort. The “lake” however was a small man made pond half empty. No one was using it. We didn’t go there for that, but it would be an issue if you expected to swim. Prompt response to messages. Good price."

"Very nice property with beautiful lakeside view. Plenty of room for our family of four, comfortable beds, and convenient access to the Okoboji attractions. Host did a great job of communicating prior to our visit and easy check-in/check-out. Will definitely be coming back again!"

"This was a decent cabin, but guests had mixed feelings about the accessibility and comfort of the place. The senior women in our party were uncomfortable with descending the stairs from the 2nd floor and wished there had been railings on both sides for safety. They opted to sleep downstairs but did not end up folding out the couches because they weren't clean inside. A few other issues of note: the lack of bedside tables and lamps in the bedrooms - there were no good places to put things (which...

"This property is beautifully situated on the lake front. We swam off the boat dock, ate breakfast on the deck and watched a lightning storm in the distance. Breathtaking views! Very clean and organized; all the beds were comfy with many choices of pillows. Two laundry rooms and numerous beach towels made it easy to enjoy the lake and Okoboji beaches. Great place for families with two full living room spaces! We did not use the second house because our group was smaller. We used the message host...

"Our time at Painted Prairie Vineyard can be described as relaxing, unplugged and exceptional. From the time we walked into the winery to our breakfast delivery of fresh muffins you felt the love and joy that the owners and their team have for this beautiful property. Our tent exceeded our expectations, from the comforts of the bedding to the great coffee in the morning it was truly a magical experience. We were new to glamping and this set the bar very high! It was outstanding!"
