"The location of the hotel wasn't in a good area. The area looked run down, and just not a safe area to be in. My significant other and I didn't go to the pool cuz it was located right next to where you check in and we would've felt like we were being watched by the front desk staff, and the water didn't feel like it was heated. The jacuzzi in our room looked dirty so we didn't use that either. Just not a good experience over all. We definitely won't be staying there ever again if we ever decide...

"Room was dirty. Bed was dirty. (I went and bought my own blankets at Walmart because I was uncomfortable laying in theirs) Assuming it was spit all over walls in bathroom. Fridge wasn’t wiped out at all. And we got a weird smell I believe from being attached to the indoor pool. Would have stayed elsewhere if we could have gotten an instant refund. Reaching out to hotel for further help with this problem. Best thing about this stay was the shops behind it and quick nearby food."

"Since I booked through Expedia I was informed (rather rudely) at check-in that she would not enter my Choice points number. When I realized that we were booked for a second floor room instead of a higher floor room, she basically said since we had an "accessible" room she couldn't change it. When I told her that we didn't need "accessible", she said she couldn't change it. Not at all helpful or even pleasant about it. "I was in town for a wedding and I just needed a room for the night and the value was quite nice. Good price clean room. The property is not well landscaped but I didn’t care about that. I just needed a clean room for the night and so for my purposes, it was just fine. The staff was very accommodating. The room was clean. The air-conditioning was nice. It was just lovely."

"Stay was okay, TV was not working in the room. Was not fixed during my stay and nothing was done about it, after asking my twice. Also, found a small cockroach in my room. Listing says pet friendly, but you cannot leave your dog unattended. Other than that, the stay was alright. Not the best stay, but not the worst either."

"We often stay at Michillinda Lodge when we visit West Michigan. We stayed in Guest House #2. The views of Lake Michigan from the deck are amazing! The beds are comfy and there is a sofa bed and dining table in the living room. There are many outdoor games and and a nice clean outdoor pool. You don't even have to leave the resort, but West Michigan has so much to offer, I recommend exploring the area!
