"Our stay here was extremely disappointing and honestly stressful. From the beginning, the property did not feel safe, which we raised concerns about, but nothing was done to address it. During our stay, our truck was vandalized (egged), which only reinforced the lack of security in the area.To make matters worse, the host was not helpful when issues came up. Communication felt dismissive rather than supportive, especially when we were already uncomfortable. Instead of trying to make things...

"The cottage was so very charming and it definitely felt one stepped back in time! THe location was superb. Wonderful positive surprises (did not pick up fully in the listing) included the gas powered fireplaces (there are two!) and cozy, private garden patio in back. One item I missed on the listing was that there was only one Bath/shower and it was on the main floor - not where the bedrooms are located - that said, the water was hot and there were plenty of cushy towels! "this property is infested with bugs that leave their dropping around every night, there was multiple problems with the property including broken furniture, no storage for luggage, nails sticking out of the floor, unsecured and broken tiles in the bathroom, Lights in the bathroom not working, kitchenette faucet wasnt attached to the sink, the front door didnt seal. After several calls to management and the Air conditioner dying they relocated me to an even worse house in horrible condition almost...

"Location is not as close to area winery or bands as expected. Right on the corner of a very busy street so very loud. This must be a common complaint because ear plugs were left to drown out the noise. Very big yard and house is very nice but expect to drive to where you want to go around the lake."
