"The room was indefinitely musty. I understand this as Cedar Key did experience a major flood a couple years back. The caretakers of the property have pets and you can definitely smell them in the main office and outside area. The rooms are very plain , which is in an issue and the beds are memory foam , very comfortable and new. "Staff was super friendly and helpful! The location was great for the springs and kayaking. Rooms were clean and smelled fresh. The floors left the bottoms of our feet black with dirt, so those could use a little more attention. Overall would stay again."

"The property was unique and quaint. Great location for surrounding things. The karaoke at night was awesome!!!! The only downsides we had were the noise at night. Some guests just were not honoring the noise ordinance. So bring a noise machine. Also the front desk service is lackluster. No greeting, just staring at you like you’re inconveniencing her. This stood out for us because service everywhere else was exceptional!"

Cedar Key is working diligently to bring back the downtown area that was devastated by the 2024 hurricane."
