"When we booked we were just looking for a little room for the night- but the property was a gem in the center of Mount Vernon. The staff was so helpful when we arrived and the breakfast was perfection (we didn’t know it came with breakfast! What a treat). We feel so lucky to have found the Mount Vernon Inn for our brief visit to Kenyon College."

"The staff was AWESOME! Very helpful and accommodating. The room was perfect. When I thought it couldn’t get any better the food was top notch! Was in town for the Mid Ohio MotoAmerica races so I only spent one night wished I could have enjoyed it longer. I will certainly be back next year for the races. "This was a great place to stay with lots of people. Parking off-street by the house for ease when unloading, plenty of beds, and a nice dining area and living room space for eating and being together. Just as a heads up to anyone with small kids or elderly guests, all the rooms are upstairs and there isn’t a railing. This is our only complaint, as my 76 yo father and my 2 yo nephew had a hard time on the stairs. Everything else was great!"
