"The location and room are perfect! It was like a warm suite at Hilton Garden Inn. There are a lot of farm animals. I worked at the nearby hospital while staying there, and the rooster woke me up on time daily. The homeowners are friendly, welcoming people. I've only heard positive things about this family from the people in town."

The Caretaker and his wife are very prompt, kind and close by should any issues arise. The nearest true grocery store is 35 minutes away in Paintsville or Louisa. Come stocked with whatever you need. Such a relaxing getaway!"

"Loved the cabin, location and hot tub. Mostly clean (except for some previous guests tooth brush, toothpaste, deodorant etc left in the bedroom side table, and mop/wash clothes left in the washer). Good communication with host, except that 3 outdoor security cameras on the property are not mentioned in the listing. Would have been better if some closets were accessible to guests to hang clothes. All the Amish furniture in the cabin were cool. We were okay, but if your group isn't just family,...

"Hot tub is a nice amenity, super secluded, lots a squirrels. The cabin is very clean and clutter free. The listing should definitely include 4X4 when possible because someone in a lower car wouldn’t be to happy with the road or driveway, just an fyi for future renters "
