"The cottage was really cute and clean. Plenty of towels. My daughter kept in touch with the staff for me. It did have a fireplace which was not needed for our stay but fall hit soon after we left. There was not a kitchen but did have a mini fridge and microwave. We spent time at Fort Davis National Historic Site, Balmorhea State Park, actually saw the Marfa lights, and the McDonald Observatory. Definitely recommend!"

"The Explorer’s Hideout was great! The cabin was very cozy and comfortable, the screened porch was a pleasant bonus, and the bathroom was super nice and just across the road (very easy to access). Would highly recommend!"
