Since our first stay in September, the owners have installed a fireplace and built a beautiful wooden mantle around it. It was warm and cozy during some very cold evenings. "Great place to stay. Very comfortable beds which made for a good nights sleep after a long drive and hectic day. Close to a lot of north macon restaurant items and family and short drive to downtown and hospital without being in downtdown noise. Downtown is nice if you are wanting to go out. I grew up in Macon and I knew we wanted a quiet night, which this neighborhood provided. "
