"This cabin is located on a "still" portion of the New River well above Claytor Lake in Virginia. The property had kayaks, outdoor charcoal grilling and is just across the river from miles of the New River biking trail. The cabin is well maintained, built with quality and full of amenities. During our short stay we saw deer grazing, eagles soaring over the river hoping for a catch and a muskie working the river's edge feeding on small fish in the early morning. Much of "the New" was hard hit...

"The yurt was perfect! Very clean and equipped with everything we needed. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The board & card games were an added plus. We didnt get to use any outdoor amenities as it stormed our entire stay, but it ended up being the perfect getaway. Highly recommended as we will be back again!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marc’s cabin. Check in info was sent to me and was very detailed and easy to follow.We were visiting for my boyfriend’s birthday weekend and Marc went above and beyond in having balloons in the cabin for his birthday. It is small and cozy, but had pretty much everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The area is very beautiful and we loved the swing down by the river. It’s only a short drive into town if you need any groceries or wish to have lunch or dinner. ...

"My sister and I were delighted to revisit one of our favorite mountain cabins. We love the convenient access, proximity to quaint mountain towns, and especially the beautiful private park with flowing creek. We always make time for the noontime music at the Bluegrass Music Museum and can't resist a trip to Nancy's Candies. This time we added a picnic at Groundhog Mt. So relaxing. Hopefully we can return next year."
