"Red Cub Lodge in Preston Idaho is well worth booking! One of the most awesome locations our family has ever visited. The property was well maintained and the owner a delight to work with. Lots to do and a favorite for our group of 30! The river was a favorite spot to rock hunt, wade, and read. The pool is big enough for a lot of people and deep enough to dive into. The meticulously kept and spacious green lawns were great for cornhole, badminton, and horseshoes. And the mammoth weeping willows...

"We enjoyed our reunion at this property. Plenty of beds for our crew. Some of us had trouble with stairs so we only used the commercial kitchen and ate all meals there. It would have been nice to have a gathering place on the ground floor. The swimming pool was used every day by all ages. I emailed the host several times with questions and recieved an immediate answer. Plenty of activities close by - fishing, gun range, frisbee golf course, Napolean Dynamite sites, dinner at Deer Cliff...

"Great heated pool and tub. Beautiful location, very private but not far from town. The warm cookies were a nice welcoming gesture. Everything was well stocked and laundry availability quite handy. Hosts were helpful in answering questions about nearby attractions. We may never return to rural Idaho but if we do We're bringing the extended family to this ideal getaway. Karla and Bryce made us feel at home!"
