"Breakfast was not that great"

"The staff was very friendly and was helpful. Breakfast was not too good. The biscuits were hard and couldn't cut them. The waffles tasted sour. Not a lot of choices."

"Despite nearby construction, my room was comfortable, quiet and well equipped. I was only there overnight but check in was quick, efficient and friendly and the cafe food was delicious and with the added bonus of a 15% discount since I was staying over. Walking distance to everything I wanted to see in town and to the Hot Springs (I went to Moccasin Springs) for which the town is aptly named and justly famous. Highly recommended!"

"This property is in a great location, away from the busy highway, great views, very clean. The beds and pillows were really comfortable and clean. The bathroom/shower was very clean. Staff was super helpful and recommended the adjacent Mexican restaurant which was excellent."

"Excellent property large clean room the only drawback was the air-conditioning was so noisy it kept us awake and then would wake us when it came on in the night. Room 402 perhaps have air-conditioning looked at. other than that we were very pleased."

"Staff unbelievable. Never passed one when they didn't ask how was your stay or if you needed anything. Breakfast buffet was out of a lot of things....milk, yogurt, pancake maker was broken, and coffee beans had run out."

"Simple hotel. Very plain, basic decor, but after staying at several other properties on this trip that were in this price range, and reflecting... this hotel stands out. Very clean, well maintained, and quiet. My only gripe is they need curtains badly on the secondary windows, it was difficult to sleep in past 6am. Would stay here again, absolutely."

"I loved the location of this historic building. I was there for an extended stay and felt so comfortable here. The room, although smaller, was perfect for my stay. Very comfortable bedding and always enough hot water. A movie theater, a dozen eating establishments, and many cute shops all within a 5 minute walk. The staff was very helpful and friendly. "

"Loved this place. Would recommend. Had a slight hiccup with getting the wrong code to get into the room but was able to get a hold of the host and was in the room within 5 minutes of it happening. When things don't go as planned, having it solved quickly makes it better as it shows the host cares and is attentive. Shower was incredible and linens were fresh and soft. Pull out sofa was comfortable. Location was good as well and after a long day driving was nice to be able to walk to a few...

"This was the perfect getaway for our girl's weekend! We loved waking up to the beautiful view, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. There were lots of bugs, but that's to be expected this time of year when they're looking to hunker down for winter! We loved our stay and are looking forward to another visit!"
