"When entering the room there was an unknown smell that was concerning, maybe staleness. The bathtub was very slippery and dangerous."

"Good value for the price."

"This was one of my best stays at a hotel and i been staying at them for over 40 years and this was the phenomenal outstanding staff wonderful service I would stay here every chance I get sad they out due Hilton, Marriot's, Holiday Inn, all tops hotel I ever stayed in"

"Had to wait one hour before the room was ready, also didn't get the room I booked. The TV was not accomodating...it would turn off and on by itself dnd the volume would not adjust. The toilet had a black ring in the bowl, the tub was dingy, bed covers worn and tattered. I always travel with bleach cleaning spray and lysol and I'm glad I did. Just not a fancy place, just average. I guess you got rhat you pay for."

"The staff was extremely nice from check-in to check-out. Each time I came back into the hotel, the young man who checked me in greeted me by name. The hotel was located on a quiet street and convenient to lots of shopping and eating establishments. I especially liked the lobby. The fragrance was great. I appreciated the 24 hour hot tea/coffee station. The lobby even had little cubicles where a group could sit and talk. The room was nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable but the bed was not...

"The staff we’re extremely welcoming."

"Good hotel for a couple nights if you don't want the extras. Check-in was fast and efficient, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast isn't anything to write home about. I felt safe in the hotel."

"They did not have a room that I booked through Expedia. Not hotel fault. Expedia’s fault. Will not book through Expedia again."

"The front desk and cleaning staff were great. More attention needs to be made to hallways - older carpet, trash outside of rooms, outdated key entry, tv channels not include espn, no welcome folder with nearby restaurants, etc."

"Very Clean and Nice Room! Breakfast was Good!"

"Clean room. Professional staff decent breakfast, good coffee and comfortable beds. Don’t let the price fool you. It’s a really nice place. I liked it better than the other hotel I chose for double the price. Book it you won’t regret it."

"Clean lobby and room and check in desk attendant allowed us to check in early which was great. However, outside galleries, stairs etc. are in horrible shape. Only remnants of safety strips on stairs remain and it was a “Where’s Waldo” event to find an ice maker. Pungent weed odor at stairwells so you could not avoid it. Busy weekend in Winston Salem so we were pleased to find a clean room but never again."

"Staff was very pleasant to work with and helpful."
