"This is a very old motel but the staff has done what they can to keep it clean and welcoming. The night we stayed was quite warm and the wall mount air conditioner was frozen so it was hot in the room. The bath is still a tub/shower and very outdated. But, again, it was obvious the staff takes pride in keeping it clean. The connected cafe is excellent!!!"

"Expedia will not tell you front and foremost, but this place requires check-in by 8pm; if you can't get in by then, then you basically forfeit your stay at Redwood Cabins. It only lets you know when check-in begins (4pm) and when it ends (10am the next morning). You will not receive a door code or pin for your cabin, it entirely relies on you getting to the office before 8pm. Terrible communication of info by Expedia."

"This is an amazing small property to stay. I’ve actually stayed there three times this year. The property Managers are terrific and the amenities are perfect! Beds are super comfortable! Mary Toward"

"Host was very responsive. The only complaint would be the air conditioner did not cool down the property during the heat of the day."

"The bedroom was a little warmer than we would have liked, but not unbearable."

"So disappointed, no staff onsite. Cabin and bathrooms were very cold and unsanitary. Only linens on one bed (there is 2 beds) that had stains on them and looked like someone just slept in them. Other bed had dead flies, crumbs, dirt on it. Trash and beer bottles. Could not stay in cabin. Have contacted property about this situation and still after 4 days no response. "

"The cabin was amazing ..very cozy and well stocked. Greeted by Jim and delicious cookies. The property was quiet..very scenic with beautiful Mountain Views and short distance to the hiking trail . Thank you Jim for everything ..we had an awesome time. Looking forward to our next visit."

"Good location for visiting Stanley and Redfish Lake. Cabin was same as pictured and clean. Appreciated host leaving a few drinks and snacks for us. Quiet area with nice sitting area out front."

"Clean, convenient, and exactly as described. Thanks so much for a great stay!"

"Jessie is an absolute delight. This cabin was a diamond in the rough! It’s off the beaten path which we love and it has absolutely everything you can think of for a getaway from it all type vacation. It was cozy, quiet and the area around it was beautiful. Definitely a must stay for anyone looking to get away from crowds and just enjoy the beauty. We hope to stay here again one day and highly recommend it to others!"
