"The hotel was a great option to stay on the west coast of Ireland. We were golfing in the area, and this hotel was comfortable and convenient with ample parking and many local restaurants near by. The Cliffs of Moher are also a short drive (about 15 minutes) from Lahinch."

"The hotel is beautiful and the grounds have a castle that they encourage you to explore. The bar was nice, and the bartender was very helpful. Our room was a LONG way from the front desk and you can't access it from the outside. We had a small child, but the kid zone they advertise is only open for a few hours 2 days a week. Likewise, there are limited hours for children to use the pool and a dozen rules to follow in the pool area. "

"This was the BEST property in Ireland. I have stayed everywhere in the country and hands down trumps Doonbeg is the ONLY SAFE RESORT full of traditional IRISHNESS! "My wife and I have been traveling across Scotland and Ireland, staying in a mix of high-end and boutique hotels. The Rathbaun Hotel was by far the warmest and most welcoming of them all. "We had one lovely, remodeled corner room with great cross ventilation. Our second room smelled horrible on a back alley by the kitchen; very hot. Showers were great! Staff was very helpful. A bit unusual to find the reception desk. I'd stay again, but pick my room carefully "

"Very quaint and charming. Lots of antiques about. Comfy bed and skeleton keys. Close proximity to the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin and Lahench. About an hour drive to SNN airport or Galway. Although a continental breakfast is available to everyone, it appeared that some guests are not offered hot breakfast, which felt undignified. "Lovely hotel, seemed to cater for everyone, from couples on a short stay to wedding parties. Very comfortable hotel in a very convenient location for Ennis town centre and the surrounding area. Nice entrance and reception, nice lounges and bar and the breakfast was huge and sets you up for the day. Free parking directly outside. Would recommend and will return. "
