"Traveling I81 going home to Tennessee. Did not want to stay at chain hotel in Roanoke decided to stay at Peeks of Otter only 12.5 miles from interstate! Woke up to a beautiful peaceful lake view after a good night’s sleep, had two good meals dinner and breakfast. Very nice stay."

Got their day of reservation.The staff made mention that they don't have rooms for rent with in 15 miles radius because they were having problems with people having too many parties. Make that make sense you got all my information and we got canceled day of our 57 years wedding anniversary. Remind you we stayed their last year. Poor communication. "just needed a quick rest in the middle of our trip to SC. for 60 bucks it was decent but almost none of the outlets worked so it was a struggle to charge anything. me and wife reserved a queen bed but got 2 twins. huge amount of bugs everywhere on the walls outside but hey maybe that’s just virginia idk. wasn’t there forever but it wasn’t enjoyable. breakfast was solid and staff was nice."

"My two granddaughters and me went school shopping and made a weekend of it. They are 9 and 6 and had the absolute best time at this hotel. The double queen room was spacious and so much more than I anticipated. The entire staff from check in to check out were wonderful. So helpful and courteous. Well done Hilton!! I would recommend this hotel 10/10 and so would my girls. Actually they want to come back in Dec for our annual Christmas shopping! We will see you then!"
