"The Horse Cave Motel was a pleasant surprise. A standard older style motel in a small town that felt alot like home. I grew up in a small town, so it was fun to revisit an older style, well maintained motel. The owners were very friendly, helpful and visibly worked very hard daily to clean and maintain the property. Very helpful and definitely a family affair! "Property was average. Employees were nice. Entrance Door to room was very loose and not sealed very good. Door moved in and out over 1/4 inch and 1/4 inch or more light could be seen at Door threshold. Fan in bathroom very noisy. Very good water pressure for baths."

"I pulled up to the facility and it was a horrible sight. Run down, dark and tattered, horrible. Office was closed after I had recently confirmed our check in arrival. Then a scary man came next to my car on his bike and stared at my kids and I until we pulled off and went to find immediate alternatives for our trip. "
