"The Boathouse is literally on the water with all of the amenities you need to take in the pond and nature. It is a quiet and serene area. My only recommendation is load up with beer, wine and food before arriving. You won’t want to leave and there isn’t much food in area."

"We had a fantastic 3 day stay at the G Lodge. We were snowed in, but that didn’t matter, because this place had everything we needed. There is so much character at the G Lodge. Every wall tells many stories. The wood stove made for a cozy warm stay on the days where the snow and wind never stopped. We had such fun playing pool and darts. "Vanderkamp was the ideal setting for small family 50th Anniversay celebration. Although the weather wasn’t perfect, we were able to be outside for 2 of our 4 days – hiking, paddleboarding, canoeing, fishing, and playing yard games. Off the dock it was very weedy and mucky, but it was fun to watch the fish and snakes. Inside there was ample room to either be together or find quiet places to read or relax.
