"This is an older hotel but the staff is courteous and friendly. There is food and gas nearby. We were very pleased with this property"

"We were lucky to find this gem when the Mount Pleasant area was sold out for CMU friends and family weekend. The cozy, quaint cabin met all our needs for the long weekend. Settled in a peaceful and quiet setting, the cottage was tastefully updated and clean. Definitely recommend this place!"

"Everything was great. It was quiet and had a beautiful view of the lake. We were in the area for a wedding, and the ability to have a place for my fur babies was the deciding factor for the cabin. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet getaway."

"The backyard was very relaxing. Beach access was also very pleasant."

"It was perfect! We will definitely be back!"

"The thing that stood out to me, the most, were the amazingly friendly people that were there. One person who lives there year-round, loaned us two fishing rods and some bait. He also took us out on his pontoon boat. We enjoyed our stay very much. Hopefully, we'll see you next year."

"Wonderful stay in a rustic setting. Great opportunity to just disconnect and enjoy nature. BONUS: We saw a black bear the first day day!"

"We had such a great time here for our anniversary! We took the kayaks out on the river, we floated in the tubes, we had brought our fishing poles and did some fishing and had a fire. It was so quiet and peaceful. Honestly I would’ve loved to stay longer there was no shortage of things to do. They had everything we needed there. Robert the property manager was so responsive and was very helpful as well. I highly recommend coming to this cute cottage and experiencing it for yourself! We will...

"Beautiful view of perch lake!"

"This really is a hidden gem. I cannot wait to come back for another stay! I loved how private the area was (you could see one of the other VRBOs on the property, but would not be in each other's space). The tiny house was private and peaceful. I had good cell service (Verizon) and enjoyed exploring the small towns nearby. From deer to woodpeckers to rabbits and more, wildlife was abundant and beautiful. Most importantly, I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated from my stay. I truly hope to be...

"Great place. Had a wonderful time. Will book again next summer or maybe one more time this year."

"I highly recommend this cabin for a selfie vacation if you need some alone time. Good for a couple or a small group of pals."

"Property could use some serious updating. The settee on the porch did not invite anyone to sit on it. The portable air conditioner stopped working the second day during a heat wave. To be fair the property contact got on it right away and had a neighbor come over to help fix the issue. Interestingly, there was a brochure for a winder Air conditioner but none in place. The unit is really not adequate for the hot weather that we had for the week. Also, the lower level is quite damp and would...
