"This charming property offers a comfortable overnight stay, though a few updates to the amenities would enhance the experience. ⚬ Exterior Appeal: The building retains a lovely, traditional charm from the outside. ⚬ Practicality: It serves as a very convenient and functional option for a short overnight stop. ⚬ Room for Improvement: Updating some of the interior amenities would make future stays even more comfortable."

"Disappointing Experience at Abby Creek Inn. Unfortunately, our stay at Abby Creek Inn was disappointing due to cleanliness issues and an unresolved billing concern. We found a dirty towel left behind the bathroom door, and pillow covers smelled unpleasant, which made us question the cleanliness of the room. What made the experience even more frustrating was the $44.64 extra guest charge. They insisted the amount I paid on Expedia applied to 2 adults and 2 children. I disputed the charge and...

"Perfect weekend away. View from the room was outstanding as was the view from the restaurant. Bed was comfortable room was peaceful not cowboy tacky. Pricey, but worth it."

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, but starts late at 8am. Also, they effectively stopped putting hot food out at about 9am(breakfast ends at 9:30). It didn’t affect us, but some other later-arriving guests were surprised and upset. We had water leaking into the bathroom from above and it was clearly an unaddressed maintenance issue. All that said, we really enjoyed the stay and will return."

"CHECK THAT YOUR KEY CODE OPENS THE DOOR EARLY. We’ve now had two stays at this hotel where the key code they gave us didn’t work and someone had to come reset the number. Unfortunately the hotel has moved to not always having staff on site, so the most recent time our code didn’t work (and it was already 10:30pm) we had to call customer service. It took an hour for someone to finally arrive to help us—during which time we just sat in the hallway waiting. We didn’t get into our room until 11:30....

"We called the front desk regarding late check in, and they were super friendly and helpful. It definitely made our trip a success. The Motel is in a quiet and convenient location to hiking in the North Cascades."

"The inn is located on a river within 3-5 minutes of the historic center of Winthrop. It is pet friendly and the grounds are excellent for walks. I met the owner and she is friendly. We would happily stay here again."

"The lodge is great. Staff is great. The food is great. Rooms were clean. The free breakfast is great. Really enjoyed the experience."

"Showing its age on the outside, but our room had newer flooring in the entryway and newer carpeting. Room was very clean and quiet at night. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Walked to a nearby restaurant for breakfast that was good. Very good value. We would stay there again."

"Clean, comfortable with everything I needed. Walking distance to town and trails."

"Very clean and nice place!"

"Beautiful location, well furnished unit. I had problems with the water not being hot enough for my liking and some insects that found their way into the unit before I arrived. EV charging was great."

"Great communication and wonderful, well appointed place. Will definitely stay again!"
