"The Air Conditioning unit was broken and the room was registering at 74*. Front desk staff said you could move to another room. We were there for a wedding and had a ceremony and cocktail hour when they asked us to move. It made the stay less desirable."

"The rooms were very basic, the walls very thin. TV was small with a grainy picture. They lock the hotel at midnight and I had to beat on the door for 30 minutes to get into the building after a wedding."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The mini fridge, microwave and table with 2 chairs are good accommodations to have a casual meal or snack and avoid the need to eat out. The staff was friendly and helpful. I received an upgrade to my room on the day I checked in since it was off season and there were open rooms. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing stay so close to the beach."

"The room I had was okay. Room was old but shower was remodeled. Beds are on metal springs and noisy. My room did not have a security lock on it. There was a bug on my bed when I got in. For me I did not have a pleasant night. I only needed the room to sleep and shower due to the reason why I was in town."

"When I went to the establishment the building was closed for the season a employee met me with keys and explained they tried to get in touch with me through Expedia , which I did not see a message saying they were closed , only saying about road construction in front of the building The women said I could have the keys to the hotel and stay alone without any staff there , my daughter and I were not comfortable with the situation ,and explained to me she had another hotel down the road that...

"The 2 bedroom house was great. I have to be honest at 1st i thought it was a little sketchy, since i booked through 1 motel and when i called to confirm they couldn't find my reservation at 1st but eventually did. Then i was told i had to check in at a different motel to get the key to the house. It all ended up working out and the guy was super nice the house was very clean and everything was great just no washer or dryer i like to wash my clothes before going home so i don't have to do a...

"The Lamplight, as always, was spotless and well-maintained. The location can’t be beat- a block from the beach and super close to restaurants, shops and bars. My only wish is that each room would be supplied with its own Keurig. One of the treats of staying in a motel is waking up and having a coffee in your bedroom before you even get dressed. While coffee is available at the motel, I’d be happier not having to go outside and sometimes downstairs to get my morning caffeine fix!"
