"My room wasn’t clean, the vents were filthy and the windows sills were dirty. I normally stop in Effingham every time we traveled to Chicago and this was my first and last time staying in the Holidays Inn."

"We stay here every August for a local event. We have an Aussie and she can stay with us for a small fee. It’s usually quiet and there is a good local restaurant next door."

"Check-in was an automated video kiosk, where the sound wasn’t very good. The room wasn’t secure as the windows at the Garden level could not lock. the bathroom sink spigot was missing some pieces. In the morning, the smell of Diesel trucks nearby leaked heavily into the room."

"Beautiful and clean, we love this warm and inviting getaway for all. Plenty of room and don’t worry about bringing anything, I’m pretty sure you will find whatever you need , we can’t say enough about this wonderful home. We only got away for a couple of days to enjoy the bike trails with our besties but it was perfect except we had rain after our first day but we played games and just relaxed and enjoyed the scenery. Thank you to our host , everyone was perfect!"
