"I had work at town"

"My husband and I stayed for three nights at Longacre. The owner is very kind. The house is spacious, but I did find it to be a little dated. We stayed in the manor room which was very big but seems like it was decorated from the early 90s. Also, there was no option to lower the temperature in the room, so I had to use a fan from the closet to try to cool the room down. The grounds behind the house are beautiful and peaceful."

"If you plan to go to this area frankly there is no better alternative. From the charming rooms and staff to the excellent meals, Babcock is a great place to stay."

"This is the best place hands down for a quiet relaxing getaway"

"Such a kind, thoughtful host. Unit has everything you need to feel at home. Nice little room for a child conveniently located next to queen bed location. Porch is great for morning tea & devotional. Wonderfully quiet, safe neighborhood. We hope to return again."

"I highly recommend Still Waters. It's a beautiful home, comfortable, and in a very serene setting. If you're looking for a quiet place to unwind and enjoy nature this is the place for you. Renee was also a great host and communicated quickly when questions arose"

"Wonderful secluded cabin! Great location near state park and national park. Very convenient to Appomattox and Farmville, about 20 minutes either direction for groceries and restaurants. Nice clean hot tub. Great for relaxing and staring up at the night sky, which is full of stars!Kitchen is well appointed, with a toaster, microwave, coffee maker, plenty of pots/pans utensils. There is a dishwasher and full size fridge/freezer. The full bathroom has a walk in shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body...

"This is one of the best places we have stayed using Vrbo. It’s clean, has a welcoming host, and is in a beautiful area."

"Felt like our home away from home. Hosts responded quickly. Clean and comfortable beds. Plenty of room for the 8 adults in our group. "

"Check in was easy. Owner was very nice and friendly. I had a traffic accident while in town. Owner was very helpful. All in all, a very pleasant experience. "

"Shower faucet, toilet flush, bathroom faucet all broken. Bath room not clean"

"This is a beautiful home with tons of space for large groups. The kitchen is a wonderful size for large groups. The extra fridges was a big plus for our large group. Enough room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. The pool was a huge hit for our group. I loved the porches and the sitting space they offered."

"This perfect little house in Appomattox is the best! It is less expensive than the hotel in the town. You cannot ask for more than a 3 bedroom house with a wonderful kitchen, bathroom, front porch and snacks on the table. Beyond comfortable. Great TV selections in the living room with wonderful seating for all. Did I mention a washer and dryer! I have stayed in this house at least 4 times over the past few years. Don't hesitate to book this best kept secret in Appomattox."

"The home was lovely. It was a HUGE space! I wish there were outside seating areas. We also had to trouble shoot the TV a bit, it seemed the house didn't have steaming accounts. But we weren't there to watch TV so really it was fine. Otherwise it was a perfect stay!"
