I booked through Expedia stating I have a dog in my search, double and triple checked the listing and booking process to see if I missed anything where there was an option to elaborate about having a dog or being charged for the dog and there was nothing. The host should resolve that with the booking sites and not send surprise...

"I stayed here for a week and a few days with my son. The kitchen had everything you could need. It was a very hot week so the window portable air conditioner was a nice feature to help keep cool. The host was available when we arrived and sent clear communication prior to arrival for entry and parking. There was noise from kids above during the day on the ceiling. I was able to work and take meetings though and no one noticed so was not an issue for me. Access to a laundry was a nice addition so...
