"I can't imagine a better-equipped cabin! There's a full kitchen and dining area, a giant bathroom with great hot water, and two beds with their own TVs (it's like a having your own two-bedroom apartment!) The owner, Heylin, was extremely friendly and helpful when we arrived. The internet was super fast. We saw monkeys in the trees behind the A-frame as we sat out on the balcony and we also enjoyed a lovely thunderstorm. This is an amazing gem in the area. Definitely worth the stay if you're in...

"We had a wonderful time at The Red Sunset of Guanacaste! The house is amazing, the views are spectacular and the host, Patrick, was so so helpful! And we can’t say enough about the wonderful delicious healthy breakfasts that Lisa and Mar made every day. Each day Patrick helped with our plans , sometimes arranging in advance. He also had terrific recommendations for dinner, we all loved the evening at Gingerbread Restaurant, a superb dining experience.Can not say enough good things , thank you...

"My stay at Destino Hotel was an absolute dream. The views were absolutely stunning, and the entire design of the property was gorgeous. It truly felt like paradise. Orlando was the best host, so warm and accommodating, making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. The hot springs were incredibly relaxing and a highlight of the experience. "Gaetano is a very friendly and helpful host with beautiful accomodations in the middle of the nature. Therefore it's also a bit remote, so for groceries or dining out you'll have to travel."

"This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. Would love to return when it is NOT raining. The rooms were clean and spacious. A great place to stay and easy to get to with good roads. We toured the chocolate farm...

"We had a great stay, the property is beautiful and our hosts were very attentive and helpful. "

"This property was a dream and we loved everything about it! The view was spectacular and the pool was perfect for unwinding after a busy day. We saw toucans and many other birds right from the deck. We used their inflatable kayak and stand-up paddle board on the lake. The drive down to the lakeshore beyond the property was a little rough, but doable. Wish we could have spent more time here! The owners were very quickly responsive to questions."

"Absolutely gorgeous property with an amazing wrap-around porch and spectacular views. I was not expecting the winding drive around Lake Arenal, if you get motion sickness come prepared. Easy access to Tilaran where you can get everything you need, cool little butcher and mini-market down the road to supply your stay if you dont want to drive into Tilaran.
