"Our stay was disappointing from the moment we arrived. Check‑in was uninformative, and we were handed a piece of paper that turned out to contain outdated instructions about car registration. After rushing back downstairs, we were told it didn’t apply — so it really shouldn’t be given to guests at all. The restaurant experience wasn’t any better. "Had a lovely weekend stay at this hotel staff very friendly and rooms modern and very clean I didn’t book for breakfast did visit the bar and dining area which was spotless. The hotel is in good location just a few minute walk to centre I will definitely stay here again."

"Staff was not friendly and offered no explanations regarding breakfast or which rooms on the main floor were open for guest use. Since it is INCREDIBLY difficult to get to and there’s no towns nearby, we had no options but to eat dinner there. The food was good but this definitely brought up our overall costs. Our stay was okay but given that it was by far our most expensive stay of our Scotland trip, I can’t say I’d recommend it. P "

"We found the hotel to be comfortable, with good facilities and overall were well looked after. Our one complaint was that the à la carte breakfast options weren’t available at the weekend as the chef “would be too busy”, and there was no evidence of that with small numbers in the dining room. We mentioned to Reception over the weekend but not on the Monday as we were checking out. Otherwise the hotel was a good choice."

There was some mold on the bath ceiling and the shower grout looks old and dirty. However, overall I can’t degrade the place too much because the place was generally clean and the LOCATION is great.
