    Welcome to The Islander 314 on beautiful Holiday Isle in Destin. This comfortable 2BR/2BA condo is just steps away from the beach and sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably. The master bedroom boasts a king bed and en suite bathroom. The guest bedroom offers a queen bed. To complete the sleeping arrangements, enjoy a sleeper sofa in the living room. Sip on your morning cup of coffee on the spacious balcony before the kids wake up, and take in the amazing sunrises the area has to offer. Come see why The Islander 314 will take your breath away.

    Snowbird Season runs November thru February. For a quote, select an arrival date (must be the 1st day of the month) and a departure date (must be the 1st day of a subsequent month). Contact us for alternate date requests and further assistance! All monthly rentals are subject to an additional $150 cleaning fee.

    The Islander condominium is located on Holiday Isle, which is a peninsula surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor. This destination is sure to please. The Islander features two pools, two hot tubs, lighted tennis courts, two elevators, shuffleboard, covered grill gazebo, onsite fitness center, and private beach. This complex also features a wheelchair accessible beach ramp plus a chair lift into the pool. Make your next beach memory at The Islander.

    Area Attractions: 

    An easy walk along the beach will take you to the jetties, where the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor meet, a spot well-known for great snorkeling and fishing. Here you can also watch boats going out deep sea fishing and returning from gulf to harbor. 

    The Islander is perfectly located next to Destin Harbor, where you have access to and can enjoy a sunset dolphin cruise, snorkeling, parasailing, wave runner and paddle-board rentals.

    Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest!  Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

The islander was clean and well maintained. The grounds were really nice and well-kept. Two pools so it never got too crowded between the two. The property offered family activities daily like movie at the pool or hair wraps and airbrush tattoos. It was a short walk to the beach and the beach attendant, Alan, was always really friendly and jumping in to help. The condo itself was clean and furniture was comfy. My one criticism is that the bathrooms are really outdated. Maybe this is something that I didn’t notice in the listing pictures but I was surprised to see it. Overall I was pleased with the stay.

Very peaceful place to stay. Short walk to beach was a big plus with 3 small children! Would definitely stay again!

Great for private beach but not continence.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was great. The location is great for being private. The location for me was not good as far as I had to get in my car to go anywhere. When you have a wheelchair that’s not convenient. There is no stores or shops on the premises or within walking distance. I give them a 5 overall. It was very clean and the staff was nice. It was well furnished with linens. The pools were really nice.
