"NO TE PREOCUPES, BEACH FELIZ .." es nuestro lema en la unidad 717. Este hermoso condominio lo cautivará con sus vistas panorámicas del puerto y sus impresionantes puestas de sol. Esta unidad ha sido actualizada recientemente, colchón nuevo y decoración de playa. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king size, el dormitorio de invitados tiene 2 gemelos y un sofá cama en la sala de estar. Estás a solo unos pasos de las arenas blancas de Destin. Espero que sus vacaciones estén llenas de buen clima y aún mejores recuerdos. Serás más feliz que una gaviota con una papa frita en la unidad 717.

Perfect getaway!

We planned a very quick trip for Memorial Day! It was myself, my mom and my teenage daughter. The condo was perfect. The amenities at the condo were excellent! We loved the pool, the carts for hauling stuff up and down, beach access and cleanliness overall. Everyone was so friendly. Alan was wonderful- make sure you tip him well! We would love to come back again in the future!

Amazing!!!

This was an amazing place to take your family. The beach is so close and the beach attendant is so helpful and attentive! It was great to have chairs and an umbrella there. It's so close to restaurants and stores. It's locked and very secure so I felt comfortable with my sons going back and forth. We will be coming back for sure!!! Than you for a great vacation for my Family.

The twin beds in the 2nd bedroom were very tall to try to get into but moved having storage underneath but wasn’t a huge deal and we made it work. Would definitely stay again.

Great location. Close to the beach

Views from the balcony were excellent and you could hear the ocean. The condo is a short distance from restaurants and stores. Enjoyed not having to bring an umbrella and chairs to the beach. The attendant on the beach was super nice. We loved the convenience of the shopping cart to bring groceries up to the room. We wish the tennis and pickleball courts were open but they were under refurb our entire stay.

There was a new staff which was one this year. Both elevators were working. (Last 2 stays there they were not) The front desk staff was helpful and eager to please . This was our first time in unit 717 and it was great! Very clean and tastefully decorated, I loved that they had a closet with beach toys- we even left the ones we purchased so the next guests could use them too! The only thing I didn’t love about our stay is the elevator was broke multiple times throughout our stay and the new bracelet wrist bands are terrible and not reliable at all, we were locked out of our unit multiple times. Other than those two things though we had a great stay and no complaints at all! We will continue to come back year after year!

Only one thing which would stop me from staying in Room 717 next time. If you Love a HARD bed, this is where you want to go to sleep. As for me, I toughed it out. My wife slept on the couch for 9 nights. Loved 717 other than that. I hope they install something to make it softer. We will be back. If I knew the bed was softer, I would book our next 9 nights in 717 right now! Beautiful view! Oh yeah, and a couple of those patio chairs which rock and swivel would be nice. Some have those and some do not. 717 does not! Overall, the Islander is The Best place to stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was super clean and decorated so nicely. There were 5 of us (3 teenagers & us parents). Each kid had their own bed which is a must for us. We used the sofa sleeper. The only negative was king mattress is very very firm. I know that’s a personal preference but it was hard to sleep on it. We utilized the kitchen and cooked several meals. Loved that we had extra towels available for showers. We did notice that one of the chairs on the balcony is broken. It had a screw sitting on the seat and the metal frame wasn’t attached. Not a big deal we just didn’t use that particular chair. The left elevator was a bit rickety. You never knew of it was actually going to work. Management should have someone out to check it. Alan with the beach chair service was AWESOME!! Overall we loved it! Would definitely rent this unit again.

I love coastal decor when on vacation at the beach. We had everything we needed and we were close enough to all the restaurants and stores. We had a great stay and will definitely be back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was great as always we have never had a problem with the unit. We have been staying with the islander for 5 years and 4 of the last 5 year has been in the same unit!(firat year was unit 514 last 4 years was unit 717). 717 is a great view of sunset and a little water plus its over looking the lake! Owners in 717 care about the guest and the unit is always EXACTLY as i remember, never disappointed!This past stay we had an issue with the staff. Not very well trained new staff and the upper management seem a little too comfortable in her position and doesn't want to respect the option or have a genuine conversation with a long time guess when they actually have an issue. [Let me add the lady that does the art work with the kids is amazing and has always been amazing and is so very patient] We had our first issue ever this last time and had to speak with the manager and it was like putting teeth to get her off her butt and out of her office. In 5 years I have never seen her face before but she has been with them for 10 plus years. Needless to say we will be staying elsewhere next year as I'm not ever going to deal with Kendall again!We spent the last full day of our stay looking at other condos in the area and booked a place other then the Islander for next year as we were leaving on August the 21st. If you do stay with the islander Alan is the gentleman that provides beach service he is a great guy and will help you out in anyway he can!

everything was great convenient to everything….. The beach was great people where friendly. Condo was great just the master bed on one side is very soft but can tell most people sleep or sit on that side but most part we all enjoyed ourselves and the patio was amazing especially on thursday watching the fireworks and sipping wine

Great clean beach

Great condo! My only complaint was the communication. The never return messages set through VRBO. They did return phone calls. With al that I will be staying here again in the future. Thanks for the great time!
