Sterling Sands is an 8-story mid-rise condo building right in the heart of Destin. With all the amenities you're craving nestled in a tropical setting, you'll never want to leave Sterling Sands! Splash around in the 71ft Gulf Front pool (seasonally heated) or relax in the outdoor hot tub. Grill up your catch of the day in the covered barbecue/picnic area or work out in the beachside fitness room. You’ll enjoy the spectacular sunsets from your private balcony and have a vacation to remember! The location of Sterling Sands can't be beat, it's right across the street from The Track Family Fun Park, with mini-golf and go-kart racing, and within minutes from numerous shopping and dining options, including walking distance to the Back Porch. Henderson Beach State Park is close with nature trails, fishing, and relaxing on the sugar white sand.

Resort Policies:
The Sterling Sands Condo Association charges a $15 per person User Fee for each guest that is 5 years of age and older. Guests may pre-pay this fee. This fee covers a maximum of 2 parking passes per unit and wristbands to access amenities. A link to pre-pay the User Fee will be included with your emailed confirmation. Guest must register 3 days prior to the arrival or run the risk of not having arm bands .

Resort Fee: A mandatory resort fee of $15 plus tax per person (ages 5 and up) is required for amenity wristbands and parking passes. This fee must be paid during online pre-registration, with the website provided in your confirmation email.

Maximum Occupancy: Please note that our unit's occupancy limit, including children, adheres to regulations mandated by the State of Florida and its Fire Codes, based on square footage. Exceeding this limit may result in denial of check-in by the HOA, with no refund provided.

Pet Policy: We regret to inform you that pets are not permitted at this vacation rental.

Floor Level: This rental is situated on the 2ND floor for your convenience.

Guest Entry: Access to the rental is facilitated through an E-lock, requiring a unique code that is reset after each guest's stay.
Age Requirement: Renters must be 25 years or older to reserve this property.

Every guest, 5 and older, must pay the Amenity User Fee of $15.00 + tax

Location was great and overall the condo was great. The only issue we had was that the condo could use some repairs/updating. The bed my daughter slept in was wobbly and creaked at the slightest movement. The dishwasher didn’t work properly, one of the closet doors was jammed, and several scrape/chip marks on trim.

Absolutely loved Sterling Sands. The location, the beach and the pool were fabulous but…. Unit 206 needs updated disparately. The furniture is dated and stained, the cabinets barely close and they’ve attempted to patch holes in the walls without much success. We visited several other units while there that had all been updated. I would not stay in 206 again until it’s been renovated.

Overall, you pay for the view, it was SPECTACULAR!!! The Condo itself DEFINITELY needs updating, from the shaky dining table to the well sat sofa to bathrooms that need updated. But again…. The View🤷🏼‍♀️

I've stayed at the Sterling Sands 3 times, and always enjoyed the place, location is great and so is beach. This unit 206 was disappointing. I would not stay in 206 again. One of the beds in the second bedroom was not full size and my 14 year old son had to sleep on the sofa bed. The stove was junky with the drawer not staying on the track. The shower head in the bathroom actually fell off when we went to use it. The place wasn't properly cleaned, old half finished sodas in the beverage refrigerator, something like jelly smeared on the balcony glass and lacked towels. I will say that the manager was most responsive and helpful, responding quickly to the issues, having the glass cleaned and towels brought up, had the shower repaired. She took the issues very seriously, and was very pleasant and apologetic and even refunded the cleaning charge which was very nice and showed her sincerity. I wouldn't hesitate to VRBO or Vacassa again and I would stay at Sterling Sands again, but would not stay in this particular condo ever again.

I always worry that the pictures are misleading but these pictures did this place justice! The location is perfect! Just a few steps from the beach or the beautiful pool area. The unit was clean and set up nicely. This is in a central location where you are close to everything, restaurants and attractions or Walmart and target! I would definitely stay here again or in another unit in this building!

This place we perfect for our family of 4. Two adults and 2 kids (7 & 4). The kids loved how easy it was to get to the beach and the pool area was great. We'll definitely stay at this property again.

Right when we opened the door, we had the wow reaction. After driving for 10 hours, the room felt inviting and relaxing. Everything was supplied from cooking to laundry. My only criticism would be if we pay for cleaning fees, we still had to take out the trash and run the dishwasher machine even though we never used anything. It’s our first air bnb so not sure if it’s the norm. All in all is was a wonderful stay.
