  • Welcome to 'La Dolce Vita...' 'The Sweet Life!' Just one block to our gorgeous white sand beaches! This beautiful beach home with community pool is nestled in the popular Crystal Beach Community of Destin, Florida. The perfect place for a fun filled beach vacation with family and friends. Community allows 2 cars per unit.

    Cool off in the community pool or stroll down to the beach and take a dip in the world famous emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy walking, jogging, skating and bicycling throughout the neighborhood with charming white picket fences and pastel cottage homes or on the bike and running path that runs parallel to the beach just outside your door.

    Come home and relax on the oversized covered porches with fans that surround the house and enjoy the beach breezes. Believe it or not... in the Summer, you can listen for the music of the ice cream truck! Just a three minute walk to rent bikes for the family, get a cup of fresh coffee across the street, go shopping, or eat a delicious meal at Camille's or any of the fantastic restaurants in the neighborhood.

    'La Dolce Vita' is a 2000 square foot home with three bedrooms and three baths. All bedrooms have French doors that open to the upstairs porch with comfortable outdoor seating. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

    The master bedroom on the second floor has a king bed and master bath with a jacuzzi tub and oversized shower.

    The second bedroom located on the second floor has a queen bed.

    The third bedroom has two twin beds.

    There are also built in bookcases on the first and second floor with a great selection of books to enjoy.

    On the first floor, you will find a fully equipped gourmet kitchen and dining area with granite counter tops and top of the line stainless steel appliances... a large living area and French doors that open to the porches, a full bathroom and laundry room with your own washer and dryer.

    After a relaxing day at the beach, you can wash off at the outdoor shower. 'La Dolce Vita' has it all!

    This home includes a credit based on the duration of your stay for additional amenities offered by VayKGear such as bikes, paddleboards, games and chairs. You will receive a notification after you confirm your reservation with additional details.

    One Small, house trained, non shedding dog is ok with management approval and $150 non-refundable pet fee.

Great location and proximity to the beach!!!

It was very close to the beach and we loved the wrap around porch. The little box starter packs in the bathrooms and kitchen were a great touch too. We will definitely stay there again!

Great house

House was accurate to description on VRBO. Furnished cute, great wrap around porches on both levels, close to beach and quiet neighborhood. Stay here, u won’t regret it.

It was a beautiful home, perfect for a family group (three bathrooms was great!). Neighborhood was safe and easy to bike with the kids. PLENTY to do close to the house for the rainy hours. Easy check in.

Great house, very homey and relaxing atmosphere! Porches and yard were my favorite spots to sit and read! Beach was a very short distance away!

Perfect!

This is such a cute home with great proximity to the beach, coffee, restaurants, groceries and all the Destin activities. We had more than enough room for three grown kids, my husband and me. Very cozy with everything we needed. Would definitely come back!

Excellent experience, very clean home.

Inside and out, this is an amazing home to vacation in. Exterior was amazing with plenty of great condition seating and quality decking. Inside was as described and had nice add ons with typically forgotten items. Very clean and up to date inside. Very happy with our stay. Watch for some extra service fees that were not well outlined or explained.

Great place to stay!!!

Very nice house! Enjoyed it immensely. Couldn’t have had a better spot! House was clean and big! Beds were comfy and we all slept well! Porches were great for reading. And just chilling!!!! Will surely be back! Great vacation!!!

Sisters retreat

The house was beautiful, as was the neighborhood, close to the beach. Could have had some beach chairs, umbrella, beach wagon to use during our stay. Extra blankets and pillows would have been nice. Some of the outdoor lights were not working. Overall, I would stay there again!

Family trip

We had a great experience at this location and would highly recommend it. The only complaint I have is the pool code that we were given in April in an email for our vacation in May did not work and we were not able to get a hold of anyone to get a new code to use the pool and then on this website it said check-in was at 3pm and check out was at 11am but when we got there it was check in at 4 PM and check out at 10 AM but that is not a big deal we still enjoyed this location in an area of Florida. The backyard was great for have outside dinners.

Home Maintenance Issues

Overall thing were good, the home just needed some updates and repairs. We have a list of those repairs and upkeep. I'm going to email the list to the property manager.

The house was amazing. Absolutely loved it.

The only complaint is the house was full of bugs (fruit flies etc) when we checked In. We couldn’t sit outside and had to cover drinks because of all the bugs (upstairs and downstairs) because of the garbage from the previous renters. We realized the previous renters must have cleaned fish in the backyard and not picked it up because we saw lots of fish scales etc. It got much better once it rained and once the garbage was picked up. It was unbearable when we got there and I can assure you we left the house way cleaner (no bugs) then when we got there, so after 2 days the house was absolutely amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Nice Florida beach house with wrap around porch!

House as described and 2 minute walk to beach. Kudos to cleaning crew as it was clean upon arrival. Only a few concerns was coffee pot didn’t work. I’m very familiar with type of pot and it overflowed so I think it may have been clogged by previous guests. Also, no comforter or blankets for queen and king size beds. It was cool at night and we had to purchase. Previous renters did not take out garbage. All were reported to property manager. Directions for streaming TV in king room and access for Fire stick would’ve been helpful. Great location for walking, golf cart, beach, and food. Would recommend for party of 6.

Unfortunate experience

The AC unit did not work and home was 78 degrees or hotter in Florida. Awful experience! Spent our vacation calling the maintenance line who was hardly responsive. AC tech just shrugged his shoulders and never fixed AC. Will never stay at one of these properties again. Would not recommend to Anyone. Master bedroom smelled like cat urine

Great location and community

I’ll start with the positive. Nice little community. Everyone was friendly. Great location about a block from the beach. House was a good temperature, lots of towels for showering, two beach chairs, beach toys, and a few boogie boards. The showers were nice. The community pool was heated and warm but someone said that stops May 1st. Kitchen had ample cooking equipment and utensils. Not really cons but things to be aware of. There were no: -beach towels -wagon or cart to pull beach stuff -blow dryer -hangers in the closet -Kleenex -Additional garbage bags besides the ones in the garbage cans -laundry detergent -garage access -hot tub They give you a few dishwashing detergents. You only get the toilet paper that is on the roll in the bathrooms. There were no extras and same goes for paper towels. All in all, we had a nice stay and I’d recommend the property!

Nice stay, needs a deep clean though!

I’m going to give the bad first but please hang in there for the good because the bad can be fixed! I hesitate to rate the cleanliness “low” as I honestly need to, but I figured if I didn’t, then the owners couldn’t address the problem. We owned a condo in Destin for 7 years & I would want to be informed. I understand there is a rental agency (we rented ours directly & had personal contact with the renters), so I am not sure I can get a message directly to the owners. That’s the only reason why I’m putting this out there in this review…it’s not fair to future renters to pay the rental fees plus all of the add on fees and walk into a home that desperately needs a good deep clean. There was a musky old smell as soon as we walked in. We ended up buying Febreeze fabric spray and air freshener. The couches had lots of stains on them and smelled. The carpets upstairs had different colored stains, the window seat in one bedroom had stains & we opened a drawer in the queen room to discover someone placed gum underneath the drawer handle. It truly needs a good deep cleaning. All this negative though can easily be remedied! Surface cleaning was great. It was a clean home, meaning clean floors/showers/countertops/linens. Now on to the positives - great location & roomy! We were 2 blocks from the beach/Camille’s beachside restaurant. It was very easy access. They had coffee & well stocked supplies. WE LOVED MORNINGS ON THE BACK PORCH, SO LOVELY!
