just a couple of things

It’s was a nice place, we really enjoyed it. Only a couple of things to note… the master bedrooms bathroom sink was dirty with a film in it. It is very slow to drain so that’s probably the reason. Bad sour smell on the first full day there, finally figured out that it was the mop in the closet. Had to put it on the balcony for the rest of the time. I told the front desk when we checked out. The elevators are rather slow and one got stuck with people on it. But otherwise, it was great! We would stay there again!

Condo is nice and was very clean and perfect for us. The condo description indicates “ocean facing, and it is but it’s facing to the southwest. Not a straight beach view. It’s still a beautiful view though. Complex rules seem to be aboutOver the top, especially when it comes to the beach but it’s my understating all condo complexes are enforcing them. Overall a great vacation. We followed the guidelines and made accommodations to respect the rules.

Destin stay

Had a good time. The condo had plenty room for family to move about. It a better place for 4 people rather than 6. The guest bathroom is only accessible thru the guest bedroom so if someone was on the pullout couch they had to go thru room to bathroom. Also the listing said beachfront but is actually a side view and only gets the morning sun and by noon it is totally shaded.

Very nice stay

The property owner was very responsive and accommodating to requests we made to adjust our stay dates. The property amenities were very nice. The condo was sufficiently equipped. The only item we noticed missing from the kitchen was a pizza cutter. Master bed was comfortable. Condo was clean. My only complaint is with the beach service. The chairs and umbrellas are 5 rows deep and spread apart which puts you with a non existent view of the ocean if you want to set up your own chairs and umbrella. You can only see far aways glimpses between the many, many paid chairs which are $48 per day. The area beside these chairs are roped off for the neighboring condos so they make sure there is no room left except for behind the paid ones. That was a huge disappointment. Also, I did not realize this is a partial view not a beach front full view from the condo.

Condo is good, the complex is not.

Check in was supposed to be at 4pm, as stated on the reservation. But the management company at the property said 4-6pm. Leaving us in limbo for some time. Room was good, as described. Pools were over crowded and extremely dirty. And kept closing them for random durations. Facilities in general (public bathrooms, common areas, elevators, gym, lobby,etc..) were all extremely dirty.

Nice but needs help

I’ve owned a VRBO house and they were really strict on it being just ready to move in. There were no trash bags, or coffee filters, one pack of coffee. The TV in the second bedroom did not work. The beds in that bedroom were not comfortable at all. The door to the condo needed another deadbolt or chain that would keep small children from going outside by accident. We did appreciate all the games and sand toys. The gulf front view was a little misleading. Not truly overlooking the pools. Side view of the beach. Not looking out at the boardwalk or beach. Very clean.

Fall break getaway

We enjoyed our quick trip to Destin for a fall getaway! The condo was very clean. Our teenage daughter and friend loved having access to the hot tub and pools. The staff at the resort were attentive to details. We love the weather in October on the Gulf!

This condo was clean, well equipped and right on the beach. View of the beach is a little awkward on the side but that is disclosed. Only feedback is it would be very helpful to have beach towels in the unit. We bought a few for our stay so not a big deal. Lovely unit!
