    Sterling Shores 502 is a 3-bedroom and 2-bathroom condo that is beautifully decorated with newly renovated flooring and furnishing that sleeps 8 comfortably. It has a spacious and luxurious living space that is perfect to host your family for a memorable vacation. The Master bedroom has a King bed and ensuite bathroom with a soak tub and walk-in shower. The Guest bedrooms have a Queen bed in one room and full over full bunk beds in the other with the living room having a queen sleeper sofa! Enjoy watching the sunset or the sunrise from your private balcony. It's close to all of the best restaurants, attractions, and shopping. Sterling Shores is a gated community with a 4300 sq. ft. private lagoon pool, gulf front pool, commercial grill area, BBQ grills, picnic area, and exercise room, located on 9 acres of lush tropical landscaping and 240 ft of beach. Enjoy one of the two community pools, including a beachfront pool, or head straight out to the beach just a short walk away. Come see why Sterling Shores 502 is a Destin favorite!

    Sterling Shores is a gated, 11-story complex in the heart of Destin. Boasting a 4300 sq. ft. private lagoon pool, gulf front pool, commercial grill area, BBQ grills, picnic area, and exercise room, located on 9 acres of lush tropical landscaping with 240 ft of beach. Be sure to take advantage of the new bike rack available for owner and guest use in the East Garage next to the ice machines. You have to check out Sterling Shores vacation rentals for yourself!

    The beach pool is heated from Nov-May, depending on temperatures. The lagoon pool is not heated.

    Sterling Shores is located in close proximity to Henderson Beach State Park and is near great restaurants and attractions like The Destin Track and Big Kahunas Water Park. Wander the 100 ft down to the beachfront Back Porch restaurant for a bite or drink. Happy Ours is in a wonderful location.

    Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate-themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest!  Destin Commons also has a mini train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters, and Bass Pro Shop.

Had a wonderful family vacation here, nothing to complain! Beautiful condo with stunning views!Kids loved the pool and exploring the beach. The water was very calm with barely any waves during our 2 week stay, perfect weather every day. Enjoyed fishing from the shore and the gorgeous sunsets. We will be back!!

Amazing views!

We had an amazing time. The condo was extremely clean and comfy, and super close to the beach. Wal-Mart is only about 5 minutes away to grab all of those beach necessities. The best part for us, was waking up and sitting on the deck with a morning cup of coffee. It doesn't get better than this!

Dreamy vacation

We had the best vacation! My family of six (with kids ranging from 2 yr to 15 yr old) all enjoyed the property! It was so clean and comfortable. We loved the pools and the easy, short walk to the private beach! It was easy to go back home if we forgot something, needed to make lunch, or put the baby down for a nap. It was also conveniently located to several restaurants and stores! We've already told several friends about the property and would definitely stay here again!

This property is one of the very best we have experienced. The unit, the location and the service were excellent. The property is carefully maintained; not just our unit but the entire complex and grounds. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the spacious balcony overlooking the ocean, the lush gardens and the lagoon pool. The kitchen had everything we needed for our three week stay and made it easy to cook for ourselves. The furnishings and decor were beautiful and the king bed was very comfortable. The property managers were very responsive and ensured we had " a five-star" experience. We especially enjoyed the private beach club across the pedestrian crossing from the lagoon, which features a heated shallow pool, a bathhouse, a raised deck with seating overlooking the beach and a boardwalk to the sand with foot washer and shower. With respect to the beach description we experienced some confusion. The listing describes free beach service with two chairs and umbrella but the cabana boy charged us 48 per half day in order to use the beach chairs. The beach sand is soft and white and the ocean access is easy and shallow. We loved our time here!

Great time at the beech

We loved this condo, the property. And all the amenities that came with it. We would definitely stay here again. There was one small issue but I would not let it keep me from coming back. There was not enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi tub. But we loved that it came with beach chairs and an umbrella.

We came had an issue with the washer and they were excellent and getting it working they actually brought in a new one. April was our first contact she was awesome. Gave us a lot of good information the TVs. Have to many remotes.

4th vacation

Very comfortable bedding. Elevator access sucks! Everyone we talked to- said NEVER AGAIN, AND THIS INCLUDES OUR FAMILY. Elevators took forever. At least an hour getting to our room and an hour trying to get an elevator down. Pathetic!

Nice condo, only one elevator working

The condo was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. I liked how the trash chute was right across from the condo. Our only complaint is only one elevator was working for the entire unit. This meant long wait lines for the elevator. As far as I know only one operational elevator the entire week. We were also supposed to have parking passes left in our condo, however no parking passes were found. Luckily we ended up no needing them after all. Condo is across the street from a great restaurant and beach.

Beautiful View

This is pretty large rental property with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and almost 1500 sq. ft. It allowed seven of us plenty of room to relax. It also has beautiful views of the ocean. That being said, it could use some updating. The bathrooms and kitchen cabinets are well-loved and could use some replacing, along with the finishes and caulking in the baths as it is moldy in places. The space could also use a repaint or touch up at the front.door and master bath as there are peeling spots. The only other bummer is the water heater. It can’t keep up with the eight person capacity of the unit or jacuzzi tub. It would be awesome if it was updated to a “on-demand” water heater. The location, pools and beach service was exceptional!

Sterling Shores Fall Break 2024

In general the property was beautiful, well maintained, and well suited to our family. Everything we needed was always found and the condo appliances were amazing. However I was a bit surprised at how outdated the bathrooms were in comparison to everything else. No big deal overall, but still surprised and I felt that although they were obviously clean, they didn’t always look clean based on the age. Also, the property and views were beautiful, but the view shown in the pictures was not the view we had. We were not overtop of the pool as I felt was indicated but very much to the side without a good view. Therefore I was not comfortable letting the young teens go to the pool without supervision since I had no real visibility.from the balcony.

We were met with several obstacles during our stay at Sterling Shores. We arrived to find the property under heavy construction which we were not made aware of prior to arrival. Entire floors of the property were unavailable during our stay, our balconies were unavailable during out stay which we were not made aware of prior to arrival, the main pool was out of service for maintenance as well as the fitness center. Construction began at 8am every morning (weekends included) and continued well into the evening hours each night. On one instance construction workers tripped a fire alarm and the entire property was evacuated at 8:30pm. Upon arrival we found that our balconies did not have functioning locks and when we contacted real joy vacations, we were told that it was after hours and the HOA was unavailable to address this. We never received any update or assistance with this matter for our entire stay. Upon checkout we discovered that the dishwasher was not working which we were not made aware of. We did enjoy the Destin area, but due to the above circumstances and poor follow up from real joy vacations, we will not be booking in the future.
