Located on 15 beautiful acres, The Palms of Destin Resort and Conference Center offers an unbeatable, upscale experience in the heart of Destin at an affordable price. As an exclusive guest you will enjoy Destin’s largest lagoon pool beneath swaying palms or simply enjoy our many amenities including kid's activities, fitness center, kids' playground, tennis and basketball courts. You'll also be within walking distance of Joe's Crab Shack, Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory, The Back Porch (a Destin classic), Ruth's Chris Steak House, Jim-N-Nick's BBQ and Hooters. 

The 11,000 square foot, 259,000 gallon zero entry pool is Destin’s largest lagoon pool! You'll be blown away by the 5 dancing waterfalls, walking bridges and spacious lounging area. There's a 21,000 gallon heated pool, children's splash area and whirlpool spa. 

The Palms of Destin Resort features a 2,265 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center including elliptical cardio treadmills, cross trainers, bikes and summit trainers each having a personal entertainment system.

The Palms of Destin offers full size basketball courts and two lighted tennis courts, with complimentary equipment available from guest services in the resort lobby. The Palms of Destin also offers lessons and clinics taught by USPTA and USPTR tennis professionals.

Seasonally, the resort offers a complimentary three-minute air-conditioned beach shuttle to the beach access beside the Back Porch restaurant. Additional shuttles run to Destin Commons and Harborwalk Village along with Henderson State Park for a small fee.. Please inquire with the front desk for information on shuttle times. The Palms is a smoke free complex with an array of amenities. Some amenities are occasionally closed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

The condo was beautiful. We did arrive early and just hung out at the arcade until check in. No early check in kinda sucks after a days drive. The beds were comfy. Liked the privacy in the master bedroom/bathroom. And THAT VIEW from the balcony… beautiful. Loved sitting out early in the morning to watch the sun rise. This location is super close to the beach. 6 min walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Good experience with a few issues

Not a bad location, close to beach and things to do. But very loud. Close to baseball fields and airport made it not so relaxing noise wise. The only major issue we had in room was the sliding balcony door was very hard to open and close. The master bath wouldn’t drain. We called and maintenance fixed that day.

Amazing stay!!

Our condo was wonderful!! It was so clean and nice. The welcome basket was amazing with stuff in it we actually liked. So close to everything. We will definitely stay here next time we visit!!

Week vacation

All was good except these major issues. 1. All beds were ungodly uncomfortable. Easily the worst we've slept in. Not a single 1 of us got any sleep all week. 2. Couch was just as bad. In couch form & pulled out to bed. 3. Hot tub & heated pool were almost unusable due to the amount of kids in them. There should be time limits. 4. Not enough carts to take supplies to room. Each rental should have a cart that stays in the room when not in use. As it stands I would not return to this resort, definitely not this unit

The floor (carpets ) were disgusting the beds were super hard and uncomfortable and so was the pillows ! The TVs were small and super old the tv in the main room couldn't get it to even come on with remote. They expect you to clean even after paying cleaning fee! Have one trash bad for a whole week! It was NOT worth the money spent and will not return or reccomend!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The bedding in the second bedroom was not cleaned from the previous stay. The sheets and blanket were covered in sand. Since there was no laundry soap provided, and I did not feel that it was my responsibility to go out and purchase any, I just ran them in the washing machine anyway. My daughter just slept uncomfortably on the couch. Thus is not the experience that I wanted or paid for. I would say that the mattress in both rooms need to be replaced as they were very uncomfortable. The location was good and was within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The transport service was also a plus. It would gave been nice if there was someone at the front desk when we checked in upon our arrival, but we were able to find someone to help us find our room and provide us with the security codes to gain access to the building. Vrbo failed to provide the site with our check in information and I had to contact them the next morning and it was terribly inconvenient and time consuming. The person at the front desk was less than helpful and seemed put off that I was asking her for help. Some customer service training may be necessary.

great place to stay

Love this place and planning our next visit. Overall great experience. Front desk agents were a little rude when checking in. Everyone else very polite. Room had what appeared to be a blood stain on the floor. I called property mgr and someone was sent immediately to clean. Carpet needs a serious cleaning or replaced and cleaning is certainly lacking. Don't look under the couch,,,,

Great Time

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great and the unit and complex were clean and exactly as described. The pool was amazing and a big hit with our young kids. The splash pad was out of order during our stay which was a disappointment but other than that everything was great and we would definitely visit again.

Schöne Anlage

Kinderfreundliche Anlage mit Spielplatz und Kinderpool. Gut ausgestattete Küche. Schöne große Wohnung. Autos stehen kostenlos in der Tiefgarage und sind daher immer schön kühl.
