My family and I stayed at Gone Coastal in July .After driving 10 hours, we arrived to find the house in unclean condition. One of the downstairs bedrooms had hair in the bed (both blonde & black) and what appeared to be period stains on the comforter. The bed on the second floor also had hair in it. On the third floor, the master bedroom closet was leaking from the AC and had visible mold. In the main bathroom, there was dried vomit in the corner, and the AC vent above the toilet leaked and had mold buildup,it literally dripped onto your skin when using the bathroom.That wasn’t even the worst of it. The garage was filled with rotting trash that had started leaking across the floor, and the trash cans were already overflowing when we arrived. There were scuff marks on the walls, several blinds were missing the stick to open/close them, and the floors were sticky and clearly hadn’t been mopped.As we were trying to get settled, we opened a dresser drawer and found a sweatshirt and wrapped in it was a pair of underwear—a clear sign that the home had not been properly cleaned at all. We contacted the management company multiple times and got little to no response. They did was drop off a broom (which we had to request) and take the trash cans to the curb but still left the rotting trash in the garage . We had to go out and buy cleaning products just to clean the place ourselves and wash the linens before we could sleep. For the price we paid lack of accountability is unacceptable
