This is a beach view condo with easy access to many adventures. This secluded condo complex offers panoramic views of the gulf, sand dunes and pass from the balcony. It is a short walk to calm water beaches, the gulf, and Norriego Point. You are able to walk to favorite fishing spots off of the jetties and snorkel in East Pass. The nearest public beach access is O'Steen Beach Access off Gulf Shore Drive on Holiday Isle. This condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths with sleeper sofa, laundry and full kitchen.
There is a wonderful view of Destin fireworks from the deck or beach. The unit has wireless internet, a 2-car tandem garage with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, boogie boards and 2 bikes for your use. Our garage door has a standard single car garage opening (H-77" x W-93"). Our unit is on over the garage so there is a flight of steps.
Our unit is close to Target, Winn Dixie, The Track, Big Kahuna Water Park, Another Broken Egg Cafe, Indian Bayou Golf Club, spas, The Back Porch Seafood & Oyster House (our favorite restaurant), Henderson Beach State Park, Destin Commons and Destin Harbor Walk where you can enjoy the night life, watch the fishing boats come in with their catch, and rent jet skis or boats for your pleasure.
We are in walking distance ( 5-7 minutes ) to the bay across the sand dunes where there is a calm beach and the snorkeling boats take their guest. It’s the same amount of time if you walk to the Ol’Steen Beach pathway. From our condo it takes approximately 15 minutes to walk down the jetty and arrive to the gulf where the waves are.

Vehicle would not fit and not cleaned.

The garage provided, which is the only place to park for this unit, was way to short and thin to get our SUV inside. Most SUV's and pickups, etc. would not fit in the garage. There is no other place in the community to park without blocking someone or being in a dedicated space. We were going to try and have our relatives shuttle us back and forth but when we went inside the the beds had not been made and all the linens were scattered on the floors in the bedrooms, the bath and sticking out of the laundry into the hall. It looked like the place had not been cleaned at all.

Nice and pleasant place

The photo is miss leading, I was thinking we were on the bottom floor with a clear path to the beach. Oh well, we adapted and all was great. TV was a little small, but they work great.

Great ocean view

Best value for condo on the beach! Clean and beautiful white sandy beaches just short walk through the sand dunes to ocean. Very clear emerald water. Calm area to swim with passing boats and bigger waves if you walk down to the left past rock wall jetties. Good place to fish or snorkel too!

Dilapidated - Maybe Even Dangerous

I saw comments about property being 'outdated' when in reality it is dilapidated. The floor in hallway has a major structural hump. The deck is in very poor condition. There is peeling paint in bedroom. The toilets are so old and they run constantly. The neighborhood is just undesirable. You park in the back back off a nice main road, then you see 6 cars next door with one of them BLOCKING access to the beach. I hope owner will come take a look and let me know if she would stay here for a vacation.

Great place to stay

The location was perfect, place was nice and clean. Cons: Furniture could use updating, parking a bit tricky but works ( I have a full sized crew cab Ram 1500) Pros: Everything thats needed was there, clean and neat. Location is near everything yet away from the crowd. Great scenery off of balcony. Definitely would stay again!!!

Very Nice Vacation

Even though the property we stayed in wasn’t updated, everything was clean and in proper place. We had everything needed to enjoy our time completely. The communication with the property manager was excellent, prompt, and very accommodating and helpful. The location was close and the view fantastic, quiet, and relaxing. All my family enjoy it! The host was Great.Parking was a little crazy:you have to back in ;only good for two small to medium size.The condo overall was nice.It was a struggle get to the beach with those sand dune;Henderson State Park is more beautiful than Osteenl. Easier access.

Description on Vrbo is exactly as described. Location to restaurants,Target and Wal Mart are within 5 mins (depending on traffic). The beach is out the backdoor and thru the dunes! The owners are timely and very responsive!

Communication & Safety Disaster

Wish we could have known in advance that our unit’s parking was not large enough for our standard SUV and that if we had any issues, neither the unit owner nor VRBO was available to help in a timely manner. We tried to get assistance for several hours after arrival but eventually we needed a safe place to stay so we had to find accommodations elsewhere. We DID NOT end up staying in this unit at all. Also found used toilet paper in the toilet upon arrival so cleanliness is not guaranteed.
