    Resort Policies and Additional Info

    * Amenity Fee: $15 plus tax per person (ages 5 and older), includes wristbands for amenities and up to two parking passes. This fee must be pre-paid at least 3 days before arrival; a registration link will be provided in your confirmation email. Failure to pre-register may result in denied access to parking and amenities.
    * Occupancy Limit: Florida State Fire Codes regulate maximum occupancy based on unit square footage, including children. Guests who exceed the occupancy limit will be denied check-in without a refund.
    * Pet Policy: No pets allowed.
    * Floor Level: Located on the 5th floor.
    * Guest Entry: Access is provided via a secure E-lock system. A unique access code will be generated for each guest stay.
    * Age Requirement: The primary renter must be at least 25 years old.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time overall at Destin. The room was nice, great view, spacious, and two wonderful bathrooms. Our only negative was that you can't bring your own umbrella and the beach setup is an expensive additional cost. There was one beach service guy there wearing an Oakland A's hat who was exceptionally rude every morning, which started our beach day off on a bad note. We rented this condo in the past and the beach setup was included. For the price of the condo, it should be.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed everything about our vacation at Sterling Sands. The heated pool was a big hi-light for me. Also the views from our balcony were incredible! Especially the dolphins. Lots of golf courses close by and any kind of restaurant you can imagine. The front desk girls are more like friends and are ready to help you with whatever . It’s just a great place to spend a vacation. Thank you Sterling Sands. We will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time to Sterling Sands, first time in a 3-bedroom rental. Outstanding place! Huge space, great views, it was just perfect for us, no complaints. If anything, maybe the only one being no coffee maker, just a Keurig - but we adapted and bought pods. All good! We'll hopefully be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved having the corner condo with a wraparound balcony which brought in a lot of light. It was very nice to sit out in the evenings. Overall, the condo is very nice, but is a little tired here and there. There was not enough blankets on the beds and could had used better bedding but overall the condo was great!

The pictures were not accurate. Balcony had broken chairs, no tables and dirty, rusted flooring. Blinds were broke in one bedroom. Curtains were not wide enough to cover the whole doorways to both balcony’s so people could see inside, so I had to hide in the bathroom to change clothes. King size beds were not actual king size mattresses, they were 2 twin mattresses with a foam gap filler to fill in between the twin mattresses. Ceiling fans didn’t work and one of the bedroom lights didn’t work, had to use the lamps in the room. The chairs in the livingroom were very uncomfortable, two of them would lean way forward if you sat in them and you would almost fall out. All in all the condo needed a good deep cleaning and fixing of all these things before charging people that amount of money to stay there plus charging for parking and pool permits. The positive side is the staff was wonderful! The checkin lady was so sweet and attentive! Answered all my questions and had the best customer service!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our third visit to Destin and our second stay at Sterling Sands. I am often asked why I drive 10+ hours from Miami to go to the beach when zi have Miami Beach 25 minutes away. She imply put, the water, temperature, and overall relaxing and laid back vibe of Destin can’t be beat. Our condominium was comfortable and well maintained. The only hiccup in this visit was the steps to enter the pool were very slippery and my wife fell suffering a bad knee sprain which required a visit to the ER. I personally witnessed two people who slipped and almost fell.

Family Vacation

We were very impressed with the property, location, beach access and cleanliness.The condo was perfect size for the amount family we had staying. The staff was very helpful by letting us check in a few hours ahead of check in time and they were able to give us an extra hour for check out which helped with our travel arrangements for that day. The staff that handled access to the pool, maintenance and security were all very pleasant and helpful. There was only one issue with our stay. We had 6 adults staying in the condo and had no coffee maker. The coffee make was not working so we informed the staff at front desk multiple times and nothing was done about it having it replaced, so we went the whole week without being able to make coffee in the condo. We had to go to the coffee shop across the street in order to have coffee daily. Other than that, we were very pleased and would stay at this location again in Destin.
