Located 9-11 minutes’ drive from the tourist-friendly appeal of Desenzano and the lido beaches and spas of Sirmione, this budget-friendly holiday apartment in the popular family-friendly ‘Green Residence’ provides every excuse to unwind by one of the 3 shared pools, dine at the on-site restaurant, play a game of tennis, enjoy an evening dance at the resident theatre or simply to get out and explore!

Inside the holiday apartment, an open plan Living area with flat screen Smart TV and small Kitchen Diner sets the scene for laid-back self-catering stays.

All the necessary appliances are provided including a cooker hob, oven, electric kettle, nespresso coffee machine and fridge freezer. The small inviting dining area is complemented by a covered alfresco dining terrace with open fireplace for authentic BBQ grills.

The timeless Double bedroom offers a cosy, restful interior for 1 couple staying. A Double sofa bed is also on hand in the Living room, should 2 extra guests wish to come and stay.

A fully-fitted shower room, private laundry facilities, small private garden and private nearby garage complete the facilities of this lovely carefree holiday base.

The large 3-storey residence boasts gorgeous sunny shared grounds and 3 fabulous outside pools (Kindly note wearing a swimming cap is mandatory). Situated along ‘Via Giulio Cesare’, the ‘Green Residence’ is an 11-minute drive from central Desenzano. A fabulous range of authentic restaurants, cafes and bars can be savoured. The timeless harbour and popular family beach provide a carefree setting for holiday enjoyment, whilst the ancient castle offers a romantic back drop to this very picturesque lake town.

Train links from Desenzano also provide easy access to Verona, Venice, Milan and Brescia, whilst the road and ferry links also offer proximity to the famous spa resort of Sirmione (just 9 minutes’ drive away) and the local resort delights of Manerba del Garda, Salo, Limone sul Garda, Riva del Garda, Bardolino and Garda.

Families looking for classic fun are well placed for reaching Gardaland and Movieland (20 minutes’ drive) and Caneva Park (25 minutes’ drive). Golfing fans will also find the Arzaga Golf club nearby (21 minutes’ drive).

The closest airports to the holiday apartment are Verona (31 minutes’ drive) and Milan Bergamo (58 minutes’ drive). Please note that the pool is open from the 1st of June 2025 to the 15th of September 2025

Nice enough but could be better.

Lovely property, great facilities and great pool. My fault for not checking properly/presuming but no air conditioning in Italy in August was less than ideal, especially at night time. Communication was excellent with all details provided, but the check in process of having to collect the keys from the office 4km away from the property was unexpected and inconvenient. Lots of nice restaurants in the locality but nearest shop is difficult to find if unfamiliar with the area and around 15-20 minutes walk. A car is a must, and although we weren’t planning on hiring one, once we did it made life a lot easier. Great access to the apartment from the parking garage. Well positioned for the lovely towns of Sirmione and Desenzano and once settled in and with your own transport this is a nice place to stay, but I would highly recommend the owner to have air conditioning installed.
