Step back in time and experience the unique charm of our beautifully restored vintage home. Come relax with your family in this spacious 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath and enjoy a game night with the family or relax in the outdoor space complete with a fire pit table! Nestled in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood, this home offers a tranquil retreat with easy access to local attractions, Drake Campus and downtown excitement. Arlo security cameras with a motion activated spotlight are used to monitor both entrances to the home. One is in the upper corner of the front porch facing the door and driveway. The second is on the garage facing the back door and driveway.

Beautiful home, perfect for family

We had an amazing stay at this home. Perfect to gather family for dinners and playing games. Very spacious and appreciated the off-street parking a ton!! Very comfortable stay and would highly recommend!

Graduation Weekend

We stayed here during my daughter‘s college graduation weekend. Was a great home to relax, and and we also had the opportunity to host another family for dinner, which worked out very well with the beautiful patio.

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious home! The kitchen was well-appointed with everything we needed to cook, and the living room and bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax. The outdoor living space was lovely—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Off-street parking was a huge bonus as well. Comfy spacious home!

This home was beautiful, comfy, and spacious. We were there for only two nights but wish we were there longer to enjoy the patio and hot tub. Allie is amazing, super understanding, quick to respond, and a great host! I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to be i. The middle of it all but in a quiet private neighborhood.

Good location for our event and parking was plentiful. Des Moines is a lovely city! This home was spacious, the owner was responsive, and three bathrooms were nice and clean. The kitchen had newer appliances and was nice. It was a very hot weekend, so we were very happy that the home’s AC worked well! However, a couple items in the home were old and in need of repair. The coffee maker was tiny and the house could use a couple more stools in the kitchen. I recommend the house for a big group.

Wonderful stay near Drake

The property was a perfect fit for our needs. It is within walking distance to Drake. The house is beautifully restored. The back deck was a personal favorite! The owner was incredibly communicative when we had a few small requests. They were responsive and prompt! We made a few small suggestions to make it better and the owner was also receptive to that. We would stay here again! Thank you!
