Tranquil Retreat close to Mt Baker

Welcome to your home away from home!
Located in the Idyllic Snowater resort in a small town called Glacier, this bright and cozy condo is on the doorstep of the Snoqualmie national forest & only a 30-minute drive up to Mt Baker ski area.
The condo comfortably sleeps 4 with a queen bed, queen sofa bed and quality bedding to make your stay extra comfortable.
Fresh Robes and towels are provided, and the kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals.


Guest access:
After a long day on the slopes/ trails, relax in the jacuzzi or go for a swim in one of the two heated indoor swimming pools. Guests also have access to tennis Courts, pool table, sauna, gym, adult centre, outdoor propane BBQ's & surrounding trails. Full access to fast wifi in the condo & common buildings: Clubhouse, Recreation Building and Log Cabin. Please see front desk at resort for further details. Outdoor recreation facilities including; the tennis courts, basketball & pickle ball are open. Please remember to bring your own rackets/ equipment.

The Space:
The condo is bright, with a beautiful view of the forest and the peaceful sounds of the nearby river. It has been recently updated and has a clean, modern feel with some retro features.
There is a gas fireplace, perfect for warming up after a day in the mountains and plenty of entertainment inside the condo, including; books, games, Netflix & Amazon Prime.

Great location and nicely decorated. The hosts were communicative. Check in and parking was easy. Only negative was that the 2nd bed was uncomfortable and made sleep difficult for one of our guests

Beautiful cozy spot off the grid

All amenities thought of in the unit. This area is a beautiful spot for some nature, hiking, relaxing and indoor swimming. Cell service/ wifi not reliable in the area. Download directions before leaving wifi spots.

Wonderful location and amenities!

Loved the location- close to Baker, easy trails around the property, pools for kids and family friendly common areas/playgrounds. Quiet and peaceful, too. The unit had everything we needed!

Beautiful getaway

This little apartment has an awesome ambience. It’s right up against the forest and you can hear the rushing river that is close by. The neighborhood amenities are awesome. I wish we had more time to use them but it was a quick trip. The main bedroom bed is super comfortable!!!! My sister who slept on the futon said it wasn’t the best sleep, but not horrible. The space is small so just aware of that if you’re traveling with others. We are all super close so it wasn’t a big deal but very very tight spaces. Other than that it was an awesome place

It was lovely, just as advertised. The condo had everything we needed, check in was easy, and the rec center and swimming pool was one of the highlights of our trip.

Peaceful location near Mt Baker

We were clearly there during a slow time, but the property was peaceful and well located to Mt Baker. Walking distance to Chair 9 restaurant. Office administrator was friendly and helpful when I clearly did not read the check-in directions before arriving to the property and was surprised to find that there was no cell coverage up there. Don't worry, there is wifi at the property and a beautiful view of the river to keep you entertained!

Wonderful Winter Getaway

There was absolutely nothing more beautiful than the warmth of the unit, the view from the deck (snowfall), and my walk along the Nooksack! Lovely place with easy access to skiing, snowshoeing, food and drink.

Short and sweet

We just stayed for a night to go snowshoeing up at baker; the place was cute, clean, very central to the Mt Baker area, and we really enjoyed taking advantage of the resort’s amenities. Joanna was very nice and quick to respond to questions. Wish we were staying longer.

Perfect base camp for consecutive days of skiing at Baker. Nicely appointed condo albeit dated. Everything worked, and it was clean and quiet. I would stay there again.

Beautiful stay at Mount Baker

We had a great time at this cute place! There was a huge rain storm so we couldn’t see the mountain or explore. The home provided lots of games, blankets, and a TV to get comfortable for indoor time. The baseboard heaters worked very well. It was clean and cozy :) The only issue we had was that when we stopped at the front desk to get our parking pass, the lady was a bit rude to us about how we came at a terrible time and advised us we won’t be able to hike. I asked her if there were any other outdoor activities we could do om our way north to Canada since we are from the PNW and don’t mind the rain. She said no, there’s nothing we can do and we should just keep moving along after our one night stay. I understand and appreciate needing to warn guests about the storm, but her demeanor was just rude and not helpful. Overall, I would come back to stay again maybe in the summer and avoid the front desk next time.

Fantastic location, comfortable stay

Beautiful property was our springboard to hiking in the Mt. Baker area. Close to great restaurants. Enjoyed the trail along the river, recreation area with jacuzzi. Highly recommend!

Great location for hiking group

The property was older but seemed to be well maintained and updated. It was a perfect location jfor our group to do some day hiking. Next time I think we will stay longer to enjoy more of what the property has to offer.

Recommend this property

Excellent location. Snowater Resort is one of the nicer properties closest to the drive up to Mount Baker. Also very close to Chair 9 and Graham's Restaurant. There is a grocery store right next to Graham's Restaurant with limited but adequate and basic provisions. The grounds are very pretty, next to river, has picnic tables, pickle ball and tennis courts, 2 pools. The unit is clean and well-stocked. Our only wish is for more cooking pots: there was 1 saucepan with cover, and 1 frying pan. That's it. Also suggestion to the resort to add a compost bin. Otherwise, the property has everything else needed for a very comfortable stay. We are happy we chose this property. Thank you to the owners.
