Mt. Baker Rim Cabin #61 - The Winchester Peak Chalet!
This delightful 1-story, 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin is absolutely perfect for your family’s vacation, and is partially handicapped accessible! (not ADA compliant). Upon entering through the front door, you’ll discover an open and airy kitchen, dining, and living area with stainless steel appliances, including a Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer, a large dining table with four chairs, a breakfast bar with two bar stools, a comfy living space accompanied by a free-standing gas fireplace to cozy up to, and a flat-screen monitor with a Blu Ray player. Proceeding down the hallway, you’ll discover one bedroom with 1-queen sized bed, a ¾-bath with a stack washer and dryer, a second bedroom…also with 1-queen sized bed, a third primary bedroom with 1-full sized bed and a ½-bath. A tankless water heater serves the cabin with an endless hot water supply. Just outside the front door, you’ll find a gas grill, and on the side yard, the cabin has its own private hot tub. This pet-friendly (2 Pet Maximum, No Exceptions), Wi-Fi equipped, and monitored family vacation property will sleep up to 6 persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:

**Wi-Fi service is now available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are circumstances beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE Wi-Fi SERVICE fails to function correctly.

**This condo is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to always treat this private residence with the utmost respect, as well as to be mindful of neighboring homes and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitee’s actions. They should be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. A few minor things lack of towels, no hand soap no laundry soap the boardwalk is overgrown with stickers and weeds the yard needs weed wacked a few small kitchen items great stay quiet secluded very professionally cleaned this photo is old and outdated

Everything but the beds

This is a cute and clean cabin. Nothing extravagant. But it has everything you need for a stay. There is a kurig coffee maker, not a drip coffee pot, but they had a coffee press. We learned how to use that, and it was a fun deviation from the norm. It is all on a single level, has a washer and dryer and is in a great neighborhood. All in all, it was a nice place, but inspite of all that, i would not book this cabin again for 2 things. The refrigerator sounds like a freight train. I could have overlooked this, and probably slept through it, but for the bed. The bed was hard as a rock, the most uncomfortable thing i have ever slept on. I have deployed with the military several times and i would take a military folding cot over the bed. I checked all 3 rooms, they were the same mattress. I considered leaving a day early to get away from another night in the mattress. This is a Cute cabin, clean, quiet, peaceful. I am sorry i can't give it 5 stars.

We loved the cabin and the Glacier Rim area. Beautiful area. Nice to walk around the neighborhood and walks by the river and a trip up to Mt Baker

Ski Trip

We had a great stay! The cabin was nice and clean with all the amenities. I like to cook and the gas stove worked out great for our dinners. The kitchen had all the necessary stuff. We liked the community were the cabin is located. If you have dog like we did, we learned that there is a dog park behind the "Club House" in the commmunity which was a bonus.
