"If you are looking to stay on St. Simon's Island do not book your stay at Epworth by The Sea. The staff was not friendly or accommodating at all. When we arrived to the property. We were left in the dark about the properties'' amenities unless we asked. The iron in the room was broken, there are spider nests and cob webs all over the place inside and outside. My biggest complaint however, is that our first morning we left the "maid service please" signage outside on the door handle that was...

"The staff at the hotel were very helpful and cheerful. The parking for the facility was easy and close to our room. The property was well stocked with towels, coffee/tea, complimentary drinks in your room refrigerator. The property was peaceful to lounge by the pool and swings under the trees facing the ocean."

"Had an amazing time at the Sea Palms guest and staff were amazing! Room was cozy and spacious. Logan and the Jamaican waitress can't remember here name; took really good care of me. "Management needs an overhaul. The place is woefully understaffed and the staff is clearly poorly trained. There are very few amenities for a place that charges what Jekyl charges. Dining options are virtually non-existent and activities are very limited. Yes, history was created there but other than that, it is not worth the expense."

"I liked that check in was quick and easy. I did not like, however, that we had to ask for towels every day and sometimes you would only receive towels that were a tad bigger than hand towels. We weren't in our room very much so it wasn't a huge deal."
