Lake House Get-A-Way - Enjoy All 4 Season

Enjoy 120' of private lakefront on Upper Cooked Lake.

This is a wonderful spot to vacation for a week, long weekend, or a few days to recharge starting with a sunrise and filling each day with many all season lake and vacation/get-a-way activities to remember. Take time to relax with family and friends - you deserve it!

The house has great space to enjoy the indoors and outdoors of lake living with all the conveniences you would need to enjoy your stay. The master bedroom has a king size bed with vaulted ceiling and attached bath, three bedrooms - with queen size beds and a fourth bedroom with bunks. The view is beautiful with an all glass front from the dining and living areas. Plenty of space to gather and relax with family or friends. There is a large upper deck,, very spacious yard by the water and dock on the water.

This is a quiet all sports lake including fishing, swimming, waterskiing, boating, and skating opportunities. The lake has a public launch and dock available if you would like to bring a boat. Finish off your vacation evenings with the sunset.

Excellent golfing options, hiking, downhill ski options, local museums and other local attractions within a short distance.

The house was an excellent size for 11 of us. There are 2 living areas upstairs as well as another in the basement. There are 3.5 bathrooms. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked. The tiered deck supplied plenty of outdoor seating as well as a huge front lawn for games.

Was a great experience staying at this home. So much space it was able to accommodate our 4 families with kids for our annual trip. The yard was an amazing place to have fun and play games and was perfect being on the lake but in a little private cove. The host was very accommodating and communicated with us quickly whenever we needed anything. Would definitely book again.

The time in Delton was good. This is our 4th time here as a family at the Delton house and will be back again. Unfortunately this time the lake was sprayed for algae on our first day there and had to stay out of the water for a bit. But We had rented the new pontoon (its a very nice and large one that accommodated the family) and loved being out on the water on the really warm, humid days. We had a full house, but the house is big and we all had room to find our spot to read, or watch the water, or take that cozy nap. The owner, Tina, is a great lady and any requests were immediately taken care of. A lovely place for a great vacation.

The best!

We’ve stayed here four times now for a week-long family vacation. Could not ask for anything better! House is extremely clean and very accommodating. The pontoon that they have for rent is great. Lots and lots of fish have been caught.

Absolutely beautiful! Everything you could possibly want for a great time on the lake. House was gorgeous owners very accommodating. Bent over backwards making sure our visit was great. Highly recommend

The property is perfect. Secluded. Relaxing. The house is very spacious. We had 4 adults and 2 kids, there was so much room for everyone to spread out I was often wonder where everyone was lol. Met some great neighbors. We will definitely stay there agin.

Great place to hang out

We had a group of 10 and this vrbo offered large enough space we were all able to hang out comfortably with beautiful views of the lake. Reasonable check out requests and a very responsive host. I highly recommend!

spacious home

This is the second time we have stayed at this location for a family weekend. The house is very spacious and clean.The owners are great and provide everything needed to have fun on the lake. The lake itself is not a great swimming lake, it has a lot of seaweed and a mucky bottom but with the kayaks and other water toys it was wonderful. The kids loved fishing off the dock and playing in the nice grassy yard.

Annual Family Summer Get Away

This is our second time staying at this location. Let me start with the positives. Well equipped with plenty to do.(kayaks, paddle board, paddle boat, pontoon boat for rent etc. besides inside activities such as ping pong, toys, books and games for the kids etc.) The main negative on both of our stays, is the host lives close by and will stop by unannounced or unannounced time. There are other ways to make arrangements to drop something off, get boat payment, etc. than to come while the guests are present. Comes across as a reason to "check up" on the guests. Between all our family members, we have stayed at several vacation rentals and never had a host stop by during a stay. Not to be rude against the host but when on vacation you don’t want visits from the host, strangers or uninvited guest.

Great spot for family

We loved our stay with extended family at this lovely Michigan lake house! The house had great space for us and fun activities. A rainy day meant we enjoyed the ping pong table, dart board, and other fun indoor games. We also loved getting out on the paddle board, kayaks and pontoon boat when the sun came out. Our Favorite Summer Getaway

Tina’s house is perfect for our family. Plenty of indoor space but especially outside - the little sandy area, dock, and lake access are amazing. We love coming back each year!
