I would like to escalate the issue, as my parents were harassed at 2:00 AM and were refused service by the front desk, despite having booked the hotel through Expedia. The front desk kept insisting that they did not receive any payment from Expedia, and we should cancel the booking with Expedia and make a cash payment at the hotel. My parents are 70+ and had been travelling a very long distance, so at 2:00 am, they were very helpless and had no other option but to make the cash payment. Moreover, the receptionist was extremely rude, and my parents felt verbally attacked. I hope Expedia will take the necessary steps to deal with the hotel, as my parents had to go through an extremely painful ordeal, and such behaviour from the hotel staff is totally unacceptable.
