A pileated woodpecker visited the adjacent woods in the morning. The cabin's creaky floorboards let you imagine the generations that have enjoyed themselves here. Excellent communication from the owner. A very restful night."

"Cozy, modest accomodation. Greeted by host. Welcome bottle in fridge, chocolates on table. Beds comfy. Full kitchen but light on pots and pans."

"It was nice. Little short on sleeping places but kids slept on floor. Teenagers disappointed in no wifi but parents thought it was a good thing. Overall it worked for our family to all be in one place instead of all hotel rooms for a family wedding "

"This was on of the nicest places my wife and I have stayed. The cabin was very clean, and the view of the lake was amazing. My wife loved the sunsets and listening to the frogs at night. I had some good success fishing off the dock. Great getaway for us, and I highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a quiet weekend of relaxation. for a quei"

"It was very cozy and relaxing. The place had everything that was needed. The coffee bar was a very nice added touch."

"it was a really nice place, it was really clean and spacious, and they had a lot provided which was nice, overall there was good communication but there were some things I feel like Should have been communicated a lot sooner, there was also alot of seaweed by the dock so we couldn’t really go swimming, but overall I had a really great time!!"

"This place offers the bare minimum to guests and feels depressing. It technically has all the things it says, but the air conditioning is on the porch and not the bedroom or main area of the house, the kitchen exists but isn’t stocked enough to cook in, and the kayaks are there but you have to walk through 10 feet of mud to get in the lake. It’s on a main road and is loud. It’s not peaceful, so we complained about all of these things and left after one hour. It was worth going to a better place...

"Overall a great stay, the check in and out process could be more clear and probably more convenient for owners with guidelines written down on site vs having to contact them. We had the smoke alarm go off and that was a bit chaotic, and we never were able to connect to WiFi but honestly that was okay - better to be present! Loved the rooms and styling!"

"We stayed here for a long weekend with our 3-year-old and had a really nice time! Property was clean and comfortable, and the location was peaceful and quiet. We spent a lot of time just hanging out looking at the lake, canoeing, and attempting to fish off the dock. We really liked all the birds and wildlife to see right there on the property. Kitchen had all the basic gear you'd expect, although you'll want to bring your own spices, oils, etc. "

"Home was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Neighborhood was very quiet, including the wild turkys and deer that came to visit us daily. Easy access to highways. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in the Minnesota area."
