"This was a nice hotel. It was renovated in the spring of 2025. It is not fancy but a clean and nice place to stay for a weekend visit. We needed to be there for a funeral. The hotel is close to restaurants, a grocery store and Deer Park Mall, which is a fabulous open air mall"

"The hotel was clean however, for being a smoke free place I smelled the smoke as soon as I walked into my room. Walls are very thin so you can hear everything from the elevator ding to people walking in the hallway. But good location and affordable."

"Sometimes my opinion of a place depends on the quality of breakfast, and if it was free. Breakfast wasn't free, and it was just okay. Not the fault of the hotel, but I should have been able to walk to the Convention Center, but due to construction all routes were blocked, which required getting an Uber, since I had no car. The staff was pleasant, the room was clean. Really a fine place. I'd stay there again."

"Looks like thier remodeling, and some things done shotty, I had a noise i could hear, finally got front desk guy in my room, than went out in hall, we figured must be elevators he offered me a new room., was late, and elevators weren't used much Ice machines were in boxes in halls waiting to get installed The night stand lights didnt work. Tub/ shower lever hard to work. On the bright side , price was around $60 The b3d was great"

"We chose this property for its location and proximity to places we were visiting during our stay in the north suburbs. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so we were given a handicap accessible room which was fine. It was on the first floor, close to an access door to the parking lot. The room was spacious and comfortable. We were there for a family visit so we didn't need the desk area but it is always helpful to have a frig to store my medicine! Breakfast is served in an area off the lobby....

"The bed was uncomfortable you can feel the coils in that mattress.The room smelled like cigarettes. The neighbors were extremely loud. The door slamming was ridiculous the vents in the hallway must of not been working properly the hallways smelled really bad like food/ body odor.The front desk person did not have much to say besides do you need air fresheners. Finally we asked to get moved 2nd room was not bad but the mattress was the same. Great idea but it needs a lot of improvement."

"The website said this property was renovated in 2023. I think 1973 would be more accurate. Very very outdated and very very dirty. We left due to mold in bathroom that was so bad my husband, who has asthma, couldn't breathe. The paint is peeling, the carpet was sticky, the furniture was stained and chipped, the AC units were falling off the walls, wallpaper growing mold. It was awful. We booked the suite expecting a comfortable experience. It was a nightmare. We left early,"

"Room needed an upgrade. All 3 lamp shades were damaged, toilet ran all night, tub dripped all the time. TV did not work and front desk worker said she did not know how to fix and we had to wait til 11pm for help. Asked for another room and she said she could not do that for us. Dresser handle broke and air conditioner frame broke. Front desk no where to help check out. Heard all other guests, walls very thin. I do have photos"

"Overall was decent for one night stay. We used the pool and staff was nice the bit of interaction we had. Parking was under garage. It wasn’t too expensive ($11) but would preferred be included. It did automatically get included during check in. Location was nice as it’s surrounded by shopping center /movie theater."
