  • Trout House is a brand new log cabin located just 25 minutes outside of Boone and just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is situated in a postcard like setting on four beautiful acres with a class A stocked trout stream that runs directly behind the cabin the stream. Elk Creek is rated as a second cleanest stream and all of North Carolina. If you are looking for a stream side cabin you will not find a better location anywhere. There is abundant wildlife including trout, deer, turkey, fox, beavers, and birds.

The cabin is amazing. We are already planning our next stay. Everything you need, this cabin has from relaxation to adventure hiking up and down the creek. Check in process was very smooth and great communication from the host.

This is an amazing cabin! Beautiful inside and out. We did not realize that the cabin was on property with 3 other dwellings, but this did not change how much we loved our stay. Cannot wait to come back and experience this place in the Summer!

The cabin was really cute and had everything you would need. Host was very responsive to all of our questions. We wanted to ski, as cabin was close to Boone, but it was too warm and icy. Instead, we fished for trout and took long walks with the dogs.

Beautiful cabin ina peaceful setting just far enough from town. Well appointed and very clean. Everything you need to get away from it all. Enjoyed listening to the stream. Fish were biting close by. We would definitely stay again.

everything was GREAT loved the place. check in was fine.. kitchen all one needed.could use a blender small one but still great Showers were a little slick, put a towel down before stepping in. The porch is a great place to read and listen to the stream I loved it.
