"I had often heard that the area around Gare du Midi was unsafe and dirty, but I was pleasantly surprised. While some parts just outside the train station weren’t very clean and had a number of homeless people sleeping there, the streets near our hotel as well as the metro and train stations were nice and felt fine. "We had a wonderful stay at this place. We were traveling as a family and this place was perfect. We had a two story room which gave us enough room to spread out. Room was clean, and so was the bathroom. There was a grocery store very nearby to get few items of daily use. They had few dishes and an everything you need in a kitchen which was perfect to heat and eat our leftovers. "Good location, a few minutes walk from the center, and from the Train station. Rooms have nice high ceilings, very comfortable beds, fridge, coffee maker, and a safe. Very comfortable. No front desk or key, access is by code for the front door and room… still getting used to that set up. No issues, good experience. "
