  • Welcome to Dawsonville and one of North Georgia’s most intriguing locations, Lake Lanier. Here you will enjoy beautiful North Georgia mountains, vineyards, outlet shopping, hiking trails, etc. Only an hour north of Atlanta. This quaint studio cottage has all you need for a perfect getaway.
    You will enjoy fully furnished nights with a plush king size bed, fully stocked chef’s kitchen, and a custom designed master bath with a stand-up shower and a beautiful air-bath tub. Comfortably heated floors are included for colder nights and a gas firepit table on the deck.. On warmer evenings you will enjoy sitting on the outdoor porch, overlooking the tranquil garden of evergreens or on the newly added side deck with views of Lake Lanier.(Please know that we are on the lake, but we do not have a dock.)
    This will be a perfect alternative to a hotel stay for you while visiting Lake Lanier, North Georgia mountains, wineries, or Dahlonega. We live right around the corner on the lake with a two story dock complete with lounge chairs on top. We also have two kayaks and a paddle board that are available with access to the lake from our dock. You are more than welcome to hang out on our dock and fish/swim. I also have parking for a boat and you’re welcome to keep it at my dock while you are there. To start in the beginning, Donna was very prompt and was readily available to answer any questions. She was very welcoming and her cabin was fantastic!! Very clean and equipped with anything and everything you may need. She even offered a nice bottle of wine. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of snacks and beverages The bathroom was adorable and super clean. The deco was perfect and gave you a warm welcoming feel. She even walked over to meet us and say Hi! She was very pleasant and communication was came easy. We will absolutely stay there again if we are ever in the area. Thank you Donna for making our trip worth while

The cabin was enchanting. The hostess was thorough and made sure I had everything I needed. She went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Even providing extra treats to make me feel at home. Truly a wonderful, relaxing and renewing stay. Defiantly will be staying again.

What a beautiful property. The owner is full of such wonderful hospitality. Everything was so clean and tidy. She anticipated all our needs and desires. We will definitely be back!! The location was wonderful. Close to several N Ga attractions and the lake. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.

Definitely a 5 star property and stay! Loved sitting on the porch with coffee listening to the birds. So very peaceful. Lots to do close by and great suggestions from our host for activities, restaurants and shopping. We will return!

Donna is a wonderful host! Hands down the best I’ve experienced with a VRBO. Her Lakeside Retreat is well furnished with everything that’ll make you feel at home or even disappointed to have to leave. For any fisherman and/or golfer, this is the place! There’s a very nice golf course and public boat ramp to one of the best spotted bass lakes in the SE approx 5 minutes away. I’m already looking forward to coming back next year. Thank again, Donna!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we could possibly need. It was peaceful, relaxing, and truly a home away from home. Every detail was taken care of, making our experience effortless and enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back—highly recommend!

We traveled here for hiking and also visiting the Roswell/Alpharetta area. This home was perfect for our stay and was very comfortable. There are many things to do within a 30 minute drive of the cabin and once you come back to the home it is very peaceful and quiet. The property was cleaned very well and the decorations matched the season which was fun to see. The manager is easy to talk to and is very helpful if there are any questions or if there is an issue. I highly recommend visiting this home and will be returning.

Host was the best! Very quick and helpful responses to our questions and requests. The rental was beautiful, comfortable and clean. We prepared breakfast every day and we found everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The location was quiet and felt safe. There are many restaurants and beautiful mountain areas to explore close by. We hope to return for another visit soon.
