"I took my son for a birthday trip. The pull out couch didn't have any sheets, there weren't any extra blankets for the pull out couch. There weren't any extra pillows. It was cute, but not praticle. The bathroom was amazing, but that's all. For the money I would reccomend a hotel or somewhere that would supply all of your needs."

"It was a clean and comfortable place to stay. The kids had tons of fun on the river and the nearby Island park was a great place to have a family picnic. Lewisburg is nearby with plenty of things for grownups as well. The driveway looks steeper than it actually is so don’t let that deter you from staying here."

"It was nice to be able to stay somewhere this nice right in the town of Hinton! Bed was comfortable and huge, TV was double/triple the size you’ll see in any regular hotel room. Shower was adequately sized for me being well over 6 feet tall. The toilet/sink area was a tad bit cramped but made the best use of the space available. Parking right outside the unit on the street was easy and quiet. Glad I stayed here."

"The Mountain Hideaway was the best part of our vacation. The home is clean and beautiful. Very quiet country area with lots of room. The address was confusing our gps. We found our host by accident and he assisted us to find the property. I would suggest that all vrbo hosts send their phone number in advance directly to clients several days in advance of their stay. I very much look forward to staying there again."

"We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this property in Hinton.The surrounding neighborhood was older, but interesting. If you bring a dog and take it walking, beware that there are some big menacing dogs behind some inadequate fencing in the area (not talking about the ones right across the street).We stayed in an upstairs unit. "Trains, River, and Mountain view with enough room for a five-person family, and updated cold air conditioning and kitchen. The location is nice for deploying by car across the New River Gorge region. In West Virginia fashion, expect 3-7 coal trains a night at the nearby double crossing. Their horns can be startling if you’re a light sleeper. Our kids didn’t mind at all and loved the trains. Even the Amtrak Cardinal line runs through 3x a week at 10:30 am. The owner instantly approved our request...
